Tonight I've got a nice comfy cushioned seat in Row 3 of Level 2 with ErwinH and his brother. It will be a relaxing change after the relative chaos of the church show last night, fun as it was. No forest of raised arms holding phones to look at. Last night was the worst example I've ever seen of that.

I'm still in London and soon to catch the bus back to Oxford to pick up my car. We spoke with Some Toronto Girl earlier and she was saying that the floor was an uncomfortable squash - too full.

Other than that, fantastic show and great to see Ronnie having so much fun. A big shout-out for Ben Waters too - he's just amazing.

Great show - unfortunately the user who bought my spare ticket here at IORR scammed me. told me at 4pm he did not need it anymore. really disappointing.

It was indeed squashed - I’m pretty sure it was way over capacity. Couldn’t move and had an occasional keyhole view of the stage. My feet were trod on and there were many elbows flying. As I was getting to the end of my rope, an awesome security guy led me up to the second balcony and an empty seat, saving the evening. I don’t want to get political here, but I’m seriously thinking of starting an international party with the sole purpose of lobbying for GA admission based on height. We shrimps see the back of a lot of heads.

too much people for me Good show, the same of night before but sound best in the church. A friend of mine see Rod Stewart and his wife outside the door. Many Skalpers outside the theatre

Ronnie took full advantage of gigging in a Saxon Church by playing Sweet Little Sixteen from the pulpit before taking his rightful place stage centre. Prior to this pianist Ben Waters had warmed up the 300-strong crowd with a tribute to Johnnie Johnson and introduced us to the band - Dion Egtved (bass), Dexter Hercules (drums) , Antti Snellman (tenor sax) and Tom Waters (alto sax). A brace of backing singers and Imelda May on co-vocals allowed for a varied set of Chuck Berry songs. Outstanding were Mad Lad, a haunting instrumental played on lap steel plus several tracks covered by the Stones including Let It Rock, Little Queenie, Don’t Lie To Me, a rousing Carol and set-closer Bye Bye Johnny. Ronnie also revisited his time as a Face with an evocative version of Memphis Tennessee (“we always used to screw that one up”). Throughout a ninety minute set Ronnie’s guitar playing was faultless and just loose enough to be fun.

The nexr night saw a very similar set played to an absolutely rammed Shepherds Bush Empire. The audience response was equally enthusiastic with fans from all over the world helping with the vocals of Sweet Little Rock And Roller. Special guest vocalist on a seasonal Run Run Rudolph was Lulu - small in stature, big in voice.

Great concert. Ronnie is in excellent shape, his singing was better than expected. Sound was load and clear.
Joined the queue when the doors opened and got a decent spot halfway back on the floor. Nice venue but the stage is indeed too low, Could hardly see the heads of rhe (boring) warm-up act that were seated (!). Luckily I am tall and found an ok view between two guys about the same height of me and could see Ronnie from the chest up.
Did not feel squeezed all. Nice crowd. Maybe it was packed at the front?
Very satisfied and well worth the trip from Norway. Managed to buy a t-shirt after the show. No queue at all at the merchandise desk
