They really should have included "If Things Could Be Different" on GODDESS...

They should include every non-LP B-side on the CDs and downloads. We buy all of them. Just stick them on a second disc and up the price of the reissue. It's easier than hunting down CD singles, vinyl singles, and overpriced Japanese imports to collect them.

I was foolish enough to buy the Virgin reissue of DIRTY WORK. I will not make that same mistake with buying Mick's reissues.

I'm sure you noticed the different (way softer) drum sound?

Thats interesting. Didn't know about this.
I always had my problems with Steves Drumsound, sometimes the playing as well.
Maybe I should give a listen to the newer release.

I never heard this before. So I just compared the 2 albums w/ 2 songs from each one, Big Enough & I Could Have Stood You Up. To my ears anyway, I do not hear a softer drum sound.

They should do that with Stones stuff too...

..along similar lines to that "Rarities" album... but a bit more organised with a little more thought in it.

Hm, that's strange. I hear a clear difference, both on the deluxe vinyl box and on Spotify.

On vinyl at least The TIC remaster has a more immediate and "in yer face sound" ...but lacks the air and natural dynamics of the original.

Over compression for an overall louder sound being, I suspect, the culprit ...as usual .
