A lot of 2018 shows seemed, well, lazy and out of breath for me. 2019 was much better, tempo wise anyways.

In 2018 Keith was really, really powerful near the end while Mick seemed a bit weaker.
This tour Mick was powerful the whole tour and Keith was quite solid (even though not as good as during the end of the 2018 tour)
Just my opinion.
2018 had quite slow tempos which I though were really interesting and refreshing and in 2019 the tempos were back to normal on most songs.
Both tours were really good

i would find it hard to believe that they could be more powerful than they were in 2018 especially some of the european gigs.

but looking forward to watching the youtube videos of the 2019 tour.

The 2018 shows were great, the ones I attended..(Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh, Twick).. But the 2018 shows were overall better imo.

The "B-stage" with the acoustic sets being the primary reason for me. That and I found the Glimmers both to be more focused. Keith in particular, but Mick as well.

Both seemed to slow their movements some (Keith's being more obvious) and focus more on the music. With Mick's heart procedure, he seemed to have something more to prove, and prove he did. His movements also seemed much more purposeful, almost ballet or theatrical than usual which really worked well imo. Lastly, the set lists were also more varied, with a few real gems in terms of "rarities"

Looking forward to 2020's run to see how it compares cool smiley

Back home and my old concert comrades from 20 years ago with me in Dublin.
Liam supporting in London Night 1
Sitting at the very back of the stadium nicely baked for London 2, midnight rambler was amazing.
Deciding to head to Southampton last minute and getting an extra few days with my brother.
Getting a pit ticket from Roadster!
Meeting a ticketmaster chick who hooked me up with VIP tickets for Coventry....

Definitely 2018. Prob the best 2 weeks of my life.
