The 2018 shows were great, the ones I attended..(Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh, Twick).. But the 2018 shows were overall better imo.
The "B-stage" with the acoustic sets being the primary reason for me. That and I found the Glimmers both to be more focused. Keith in particular, but Mick as well.
Both seemed to slow their movements some (Keith's being more obvious) and focus more on the music. With Mick's heart procedure, he seemed to have something more to prove, and prove he did. His movements also seemed much more purposeful, almost ballet or theatrical than usual which really worked well imo. Lastly, the set lists were also more varied, with a few real gems in terms of "rarities"
Looking forward to 2020's run to see how it compares
