Bjornulf is probably in the air flying from Phoenix.
The Stones always like to be the first.
It's official - a stadium executive I've been in communication with emailed me about the change about 20 minutes before the Stones tweeted it.
And Ticketmaster emailed me about the date change for my parking too.
Evidently according to rlj1010 it's a "common occurrence", but for the life of me I can't think of it happening ever by any big name band - especially on such short notice.

Where are you staying or do you plan to leave right after show? I live near Sarasota and will be driving back early Saturday.

As of this writing, it still says Saturday 8/31 on Ticketmaster, but I'm sure that will change momentarily.

United just issued a travel waiver:

The new date should have its own sticky thread to make it harder to miss.
The original dates were set up to avoid this very situation with Miami,Jacksonville, Houston and New Orleans starting the tour in late April/early May.
Fingers crossed they can get this last one in with no problems, best of luck FLA.

There is Wi-Fi on airplanes now. Rolling Stones.com is reporting nothing. Twitter tweets is not quite good enough. Need official word. Some people have to work tomorrow, change Flights, etc.. we need more evidence.

I can change a flight to get there no problem.
But getting home all flights out of Fort Lauderdale of sold out.
I can get a flight out of Fort Myers.
My question is will it be a night mare getting there?
Will everyone on the east coast be headed that way?

Good on the Stones for making the decision to get this in a day early..
By changing it one day it now makes everyones tix (besides third party) refundable.
They could have called it a tour, taken the insurance and been home right now.
Love this decision and happy for those that can make the show!!!
