Sadly, I just cancelled. Flying in was ok, getting home could be the problem. I had original date tickets, which Ticketmaster refunded. Hopefully, the show goes on. 6 No Filter shows will have to be enough for me until next time.

Yes we do. It is time. This tropical force winds beginning Saturday night is not a good sign.

The ideal situation would be to have this concert a day or two earlier. The stones require mandatory rest days between shows and the stage crew needs time to set up. Trying to manoeuvre a show around a real hurricane is beyond routine logistics. Fingers crossed for everyone involved but Saturday may be too tight to pull off.

They will Knock and Knock seep and seep I have some clonazepam in case of an emergency.

If it goes, this will be number 7 for me of the US tour. Don't want my last show to be Rose Bowl, although, that was a great one.

West Palm Beach is reporting that all Hanging Stoplights will be taken down. The other lights, which are constructed with metal upside down L shaped posts are ok .

Wow - not the news I was hoping to wake up to.
Turned on news and the first thing I see is hurricane patterns and predcitions...thought it might have fizzled out a bit or veerd in another direction.
Skimming through the last couple pages of thread, and sorry for all the fans who have cancelled - probably a smart move though, and I'd do the same.
But still no official word from the Stones? Maybe there's still hope the show will go on?

Don't believe you without anymore information to back that up

I have two HT-Homeys from the Hood coming tomorrow to place the metal shutters around the T-Home When this is done it is totally dark inside and - when the neighbors follow suit it looks like an episode out of the "Zombies".


I am not taking any chances with this storm. My last Hurrcane was Wilma in 2007 and the winds were around 100 and knocked out every window knocked down trees and destroyed cars and kept folks out of work for weeks.. Worse part, I was without cable TV for weeks during October!!!!

130-140 is exponentially worse.


I am going to that concert.

keep an eye on ticket master they have to have the date changed before the announcement is made or at the same time

For Wilma, the eye passed right over my house. Windows blew in. Stupid me didn't have shutters. Lesson learned the hard way. Had accordion shutters installed the following season.

If that Friday rumor is actually true, I'm happy/sad. I already have tickets to see Beck in West Palm Beach on Friday, and I'll have to miss that. (Nor do I have any chance in hell selling those... the show is selling very very poorly on TM.)

If they really have the show tomorrow, imagine the reactions for people who show up on Saturday who didn't hear the news and missed the show.

Yeah rlj1010....rescheduleding for Friday is not gonna happen for the reason you mention as well as many others.
Has there ever been a Stones show. or a show by any band, that has been moved forward by a day (or two or three) instead of being pushed back for any reason?

All tickets will be honored for the new date. There will be no opening act — so no Juanes performance. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the Stones will go on at 8:30 p.m.

Holy Crap. this is great!! I wish i wouldve known that 20 mintues ago. I just rebooked my return flight for early sunday.

Well... sorry Beck. Stones takes precedence! Now I've gotta try to sell those. I'll probably end up eating the cost unless the Beck show miraculously gets postponed/cancelled.

Now I'm going to be stuck with Miami lithograph that has the wrong date on it!
