Hoping the original rumoured May 17th date for San Diego stands correct, but now seems it could be earlier in the month?
Refundable hotels booked both near stadium and downtown 16-18 (will decide best option later), but if it's a different date need to cancel and scramble for new reservations.
The thrill of it all....smiling smiley
.

Assuming that the concert will be at Petco Park, that date conflicts with a Padres game.

I don't see the new Las Vegas stadium being ready in time, I think that one is out.

It was never "in" to be now "out"

Yes that's been made clear several times, but I don't think Petco is an option as these shows will be in football stadiums - not diamond shaped baseball stadiums.
But as with the Zip Code tour, I think Petco Park was the only baseball stadium of the tour, while the rest were football stadiums? So you never know...
Either way, SDCCU football stadium or Petco Park, no matter...nor do the actual dates. Thrilled to know the Stones will be back in Southern California at least one more time. smiling smiley

I saw them at Comerica Park, a baseball stadium, so there were at least two on that tour.

It is my best guess based on info from several sources, but it is not confirmed 100% yet. I don't know if their current stage setup will work with a baseball stadium like Petco Park.

Would have preferred the baseball park again, but also cool to check out the old stadium. Still planning on staying close to Petco, and commute to stadium cool smiley

For Zip Code, the gaslight area was, uh.. lit spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Based on the fact that SDCCU Stadium is a football stadium, high capacity with room for 55,000 Stones fans with the current stage, and the fact that they are now having Stones teasers on display at the SDCCU Stadium, I will assume this is the place for the opening show. SDCCU Stadium = Qualcomm Stadium = San Diego Stadium = Jack Murphy Stadium.

BV just added Dallas to the list. Baltimore is missing now.

Seems unlikely they would play in both Dallas and Austin.

Well Texas is large and they will play both Austin and Dallas this summer.

I saw the Stones there in 1981, in the Jack Murphy Stadium days, and best of all at night in general admission. J.Geils Band and George Thorogood and the Destroyers were the openers. I think it was the show after the famous LA show with Prince.

I have only done one baseball stadium concert and it was not the Stones. Just seems like there are a lot of bad seats on the field. The seats to each side seem to go on forever. And the stadium seating is a long ways away. I guess if you have a good seat does not really matter

I cannot access that picture but I'm sure it is true.

Unless I missed it, I think Nashville is now the only city without billboard confirmation.

I would have preferred PETCO just because of location and that football stadium is a huge dump. BUT its a Stones show and I will take it.

Does anyone know if there is rail service out to the stadium in SD?
