They're coming to my hometown for the first time in 18 years (it appears) and there's a very good chance I'll be out of town for business given what my calendar looks like. Life happens. I've missed Stones concerts for family functions, too. It hurts, but life is about priorities. I don't begrudge anyone who drops everything to see them one more time or 17 more times and I cherish the three times I saw them over the years. If I can see them in 2020, that would be great. If not, I'll doubtless have an official live CD and concert DVD of the tour before long. Good health to the Stones and to all who see them this year.

I really never liked or understood the "No Filter" name for the tour?
What is not filtered or filtered?
4 tours in 4 years with the same name?
They really should call it the "No Stopping" tour.

'No filter' refers to an image that has not been edited/photoshopped (ie has not had a filter put over it). It can also mean someone who says what they think without worrying about other people's feelings. I always thought it was pretty good branding for the stones - a nod to the contemporary (as always), but hinting at being real/true.

syrel

It's just a name, similar to ZIP CODE or ON FIRE or URBAN JUNGLE - it has nothing to do with any music of or by the Stones. It means nothing regarding the Stones. They could've called it DO NOT X-RAY or ALWAYS DISRUPTED or COOK COOK.

I'm surprised that on the west coast, just play in San Diego, would you expect them to add any other city, right? With great anxiety from Montevideo- Uruguay, waiting for the official announcement. Come on The Stones!

I think we'll see at least one more west coast date added to the list.
San Diego, Oakland, and Vancouver would make three.. here's hoping!!

Some talk of two shows in Vancity...

I saw earlier in the thread that May 17th was the rumored opener date in San Diego.
Anyone have a best guess (or know) on the venue?
Would love Petco Park again as they did for the Zip Code opener, but guessing maybe the SDCCU Stadium?
Seems odd now they did Petco when most of the venues on Zip Code were stadiums.

Would like to see Portland, Edmonton or Winnipeg, long time these cities had them back.

They played LA, Seattle and close to SF last summer. That’s pretty good coverage of the west coast. An Oregon show would be cool though.

Re: No Filter Tour 2020

So the thought is there will be no stops between San Diego to Dallas?

That is a big gap...but I guess not many big cities.

Could New Mexico get a show?

Let's see if someone can help me, from rumored cities, which ones have a better connection with tampa?

Re: No Filter Tour 2020
Date: January 30, 2020 19:03

St Louis / Louisville / Nashville are all pretty close to each other.

That might be a sweet spot for getting a great seat for cheap.

I know in 2015 Nashville seats got really cheap a few days before the show.

Well, if it does kick off that early, unless there are more cities coming down the pike, the tour would end early July using the 3 day rest formula...Using a 15 show basis, the tour would end July 12 completely eliminating the 2 new western stadiums. Just my mind working ot

It's 2020 and people are talking about next year.

Go see the band now.

Yes it´s very funny that some people think this will last forever ... Charlie Watts is almost 79 years old. Everything since 2012 has been a bonus, it has been overtime for many years now.

Go see them now because it can all end tomorrow and it will soon.

Of course that’s a risk I’ll have to take as I can’t afford to travel over to the USA, however, I hope all going have a blast.

Its day to day man...go to every show possible.
Dont leave regrets!

Maybe Minnesota and GreenBay are vying for that hole in the map.
500 miles to the closest show (St L) for both

Using a 15 show basis, the tour would end July 12

There is usually a mid-tour break of about a week.

Considering Pasadena was perhaps the biggest/fastest selling show, I'd have to think L.A. would be a no brainer.
The new football stadium in inglewood is 85% complete and scheduled to open July 25, but I think Taylor Swift is already scheduled to open it?
Either that or the good old Coliseum where the Stones have played several times.
Start the tour in SoCal, and end the tour in SoCal!!!

Well you can add 2 weeks to that formula and you still miss both Stadium openings

Vancouver is an awesome city. Just go. Thank me later.

Have committed to other shows in Europe in mid-July so hopefully no clashes with that.

Come to think of it, I need 1 show to make 25 all-time and I have never seen a show in Canada. Plus I would have free accommodation in Vancouver. Tempting!

Vancouver is always rated as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Mountains, ocean, trees. Literally go skiing in the morning and then go sailing in the afternoon. Lots of US tv shows are filmed here as well as movies.

Would be fun if there was a promo of some sort, tongue on the scoreboard etc during the SB. With an official announcement reportedly not until next week though, it doesn't seem likely. Maybe they made a deal with Pepsi for the campaign and there will be a "catch them on tour this summer" blip at the end of their ad or something.

May 17th show couldn't be Petco as the Padres have a home games against Cubs that day. SDCCU is wide open, but still a dump nowadays.
