I had speculated whether they would play in baseball stadiums to go back into some of the same markets that they recently played in. Should be interesting. Hope the tongue logo banners start popping up soon.

Did San Diego knock down their old football stadium or is it still standing? They no longer have a football team and their baseball stadium is likely too small for a Stones show given their most recent venues.

They played Petco Park in 2015

thumbs up

Toots and the Maytals opening - thought that show was better than the 2015 opener, but I always have a good times when the Stones play in San Diego.
*Especially in 2002 when they played the relatively small indoor San Diego Sports Arena.

US Tour 2020? Would they travel New York again?

New York, Los Angeles, and several other cities across the land - including a couple in Canada making it No Filter North America II 2020.

What you say is an affirmation or a wish?

Man I hope no Baseball Stadiums. Went and saw Lucas Nelson and Zac Brown the day before the Stones in Denver.

There are way to many bad seats.

Every Seat in the Grandstands are almost a full baseball field away. And the floors on the side are way way to the side.

Also it will be baseball season.

I hope this is bad info.

If I recall, most of the 2015 tour was in football stadiums.

The 2015 Zip Code tour started in San Diego at Petco Park (a baseball stadium).

Attended both baseball park concerts on that tour.. San Diego and Detroit.
If playing more, front of stage floor seating and pit tickets become almost mandatory cool smiley But like Zip Code, it would seem likely they sprinkle in just a few baseball parks where it makes sense.

We were near you when that happened. We had floor seats where tons of interlopers stood in front of us. Second row back in second section just to the right of center. Pit tickets from now on!

To come back to topic. What happened to 2020 plans? Has it all been called off? Everything that was there before seems to have vanished.

That's not what I asked for.

maybe this shoud be a seperate thread BV?

You are right. Better pack up this Ringo stuff and put it somewhere in a suitable place, maybe even in a new OT thread if you can't help it.

The Stones at Carter Finley has usually been great but I'd still love to see them at Kenan Stadium-UNC. I suspect access for 50 odd trucks would be very difficult though.
