No Filter Tour 2020
Posted by: swaff ()

Three more shows for the USA/Canada No Filter Tour. (Pasadena, Ca./ Glendale, Az./ and Miami, Fl.) What's next? I vote for another leg, maybe Arena's? San Francisco's new Chase center will be open soon.

I'm guessing IF they do more dates next year, they will add more dates to No Filter across North America, maybe several Canadian shows since Canada has mostly been ignored since 2013, I would predict they would do less shows than 17 which was a lot for them in recent years, maybe even less than the usual 14, say maybe 8 shows. This is all wishful thinking of course. it's disappointing that nobody really knows anything, At the end of the No Filter Europe/UK 2018 Leg we already knew that they were eyeing up North America for 2019. Hopefully we hear something soon.

After the overwhelming success of this current leg of the No Filter Tour, they're going to do a victory lap of 16 North American cities they skipped.
They might have time to work on the new album again for a couple of short sessions (after some vacation/family time), but the road is calling and the show must go on!

Maybe I just need to hear (read) what I'm already thinking. (Hoping)

OK BV we can close this thread.

That's what I'd been led to believe. It's the logical choice with no tour since 2014. Since 2015, Europe and North America have had 2 tours each and South America 1. Hasn't it been hinted at on here already?

I'd like them to do a tour of Arenas, that's where this band deliver best, with the passion they are showing right now and the sound Keith's guitar is making, he'll blow the lid off the roofs of the strongest buildings.

I don't think that's necessarily a pointer though I do think that's where the next tour will be. Exhibitionism started in the UK in 2016 and yet we got no gigs at all here, their home country, between 2013 & 2018!

Whatever they do, do not drop this stage. Use it forever....

History would suggest it will get at least 1 more tour. The 14OF, Zip Code & Ole Ole stage, fundamentally the same stage, got about 60 uses or so.
By the end of this tour, the No Filter stage will have had 45.

Whatever happens next year I will look into doing it seriously, if I can scrape enough money together

There were rumours about South America but they seem to have shifted to Asia/Australia/NZ.

since 'forever' can be very short given their age I think they'll might stick to that stage until the end

I think that's a fair shout tbh. The No Filter Stage is much more sophisticated than the previous stage so when introduced in Europe in 2017, they must have been confident of getting good use out of it.
If there are any changes, I believe they'll be limited to superficial ones such as between last year and this.

I posted this beofre:

On NJ 1 I talked to some guy with connections to the Stones management, he said, and there was a big chance the Stones will do another US Leg Tour in 2020 instead of South America.

It has someting to do with the stage and transport. The guy said also that they can continue for five more years in this shape with a maximum of three months touring a year.

I think it would be a shame to let South America down.

NJ2, I talked to a (well known) guy who said that he got the info
that "South America is on, then Asia and Australia" and then "that´s it".

I'm sure they'll want to finish with a show or 2 in London, where it all began.
