Then you best do some time travel back to 1978 or at least watch the "Live In Texas '78" DVD. BOB hasn't sounded good live since then.

Maybe the lack of a song vote means they have something special planned for us. I'm guessing a special guest (Eddie Vedder?) for an extra song on the B-stage.

In that case, I vote for Respectable.

Emotional Rescue was performed brilliantly at Hyde Park, 13th July 2013. Jagger has not lost his ability to reach those high falsetto notes and I hope to see it performed on this tour.

Bernard does the prominent backing vocal on BoB these days… (at least he did so in Munich in 2017)

Yeah, right. The song vote laws are not to be messed with.

They were rehearsing "Let's Spend the Night Together" in Norway 2014 in the seventh slot in the dress rehearsals as soon as the "vote" went up.

Incentive to fake the vote .... 3 fewer songs to rehearse while finding targets to market overpriced merchandise.

Didn't have a contest to fly the winner to a show in Miami etc. in 2014.
Contest laws are not to be messed with winking smiley No such thing as song vote laws cool smiley

Would be happy with any of those, so I'll pass on voting this time.

I'm very much hoping they save BoB for Miami, or do it again, if it wins.

The vote means nothing. In Denver I heard them rehearsing Like a Rolling Stone while the voting was still open to its means they pick what they want to play

Sigh.
No, it means they know before rehearsals which song has either won or is way out front.
They have zero incentives to fake the vote, and legal incentives not to.

What legal incentives? The fan vote is just (completely pointless) marketing. Have you not read the incredibly very obviously interesting Chuck Leavell interviews where he IMMEDIATELY starts to work on the next set list and rummages through 3000 years of previous set lists just so they don't play the same song as they did last time?

A beyond obvious hint at what the "fan vote" really is.

im not sure the 4 song voting system works, why 4 songs only, what about a 10 song vote or 20, not as if they dont have them. or do what bowie used to do, a phone vote, someone phones and tells him what to play.

haw mick gonna play winning ugly, funny to see that reaction.

Should Beast of Burden be a warhorse, along with Street Fighting Man?

Nah.
No doubt Chuck works on the setlists immediately, fine tuning the other 99% of songs, but the vote song is decided by vote. Been obvious for a while, when they had it on all there social media sites and anyone could vote anonymously, the results were the most "popular". Now that you have to register etc. and take some time we're seeing more "rarities". The vote is now tied to a contest, with legal rules and guidelines they have to follow.

Decided to spare those in attendance by not voting for Emotional Rescue! smiling smiley
Voted All Down the Line, but would love to see Beast of Burden...Respectable is a great studio tune, but usually when played doesn't quite live up to it.

I've described my 2019 fantasy version of BOB, which also includes a Glimmer Twins mic-share on the "Am I hard enough? Am I rough enough?..." part. A girl can dream, can't she?

If BOB loses the vote I'd also love to hear ADTL smiling smiley

I feel they're doing an end of tour DVD etc and are playing to that, instead of the warhorses

Just saying
