Seems this will be one of the shortest periods for voting if/when the vote comes out.
Could work in our favor if they include a "rarity".
Less time for the casual fans to get in on the vote could result in the more hardcore fans deciding this one..
Vote early! Vote often! cool smiley

there have been a few shows without song votes before…

The vote means nothing. In Denver I heard them rehearsing Like a Rolling Stone while the voting was still open to its means they pick what they want to play

Baby Got Back (Sir Mix-A-Lot)
Breed (Nirvana)

If part of the nominees again, I'm tempted to vote for Emotional Rescue not because I like it, but because maybe they'll get it out of their system and not play it at any of the shows I'm attending the rest of the tour!
But after trashing it so many times throughout the years (both studio and live) I have a feeling karma will catch up and it will be played at every single future show I attend...that would be rough justice! eye popping smileywinking smiley

My wife and I met in 2012 and I would play her the bootlegs from the 2013 tour.
Emotional Rescue was a favorite for both us.

If we go to Miami? I hope Karma catches up with you.....

THis. It's a vote, yes but said vote determines nothing...

Sigh.
No, it means they know before rehearsals which song has either won or is way out front.
They have zero incentives to fake the vote, and legal incentives not to.

Maybe they are tired of everyone bitching about what does/doesn't get played.

The setlist desperately needs some songs less than 30 years old, so I'm hoping for:

Flip The Switch
Stealing My Heart
Let Me Down Slow
Driving Too Fast

i agree the setlist could use some newer music...but man they are on fire!!

good to see them drop its only rock and roll.

maybe they could do it on a more permanent basis.

not as if the gig comes to a standstill without it.

Yeah, right. The song vote laws are not to be messed with.

They were rehearsing "Let's Spend the Night Together" in Norway 2014 in the seventh slot in the dress rehearsals as soon as the "vote" went up.

Incentive to fake the vote .... 3 fewer songs to rehearse while finding targets to market overpriced merchandise.

I want to see something with the "scary" stones groove that i love so much. "dancing with mr d", "fingerprint file" or even "out of control". we know they rehearsed "fingerprint" but it hasn't made it to a show yet. barring that, "live with me" or "stray cat blues" in that slot would make me a happy man!

Is this the first show of this particular tour with no song vote?

All Down The Line
Emotional Rescue
Beast Of Burden
Respectable

(note: ADTL has already been in the song vote for the previous show. I think that never happened before. note also: Respectable is in the song vote for the 5th time for this leg of the tour)

i went for "all down the line". sort of full circle for me as i think it was the 2nd song i ever heard the stones play live (after "let it rock") in 1978. i would be very happy with "beast" or "respectable" too. not so keen on "emotional" but i'm happy with anything they want to play.
