Only saw an opening bit, and while I am NOT a Chuck fan in the Stones, here I see the real Chuck Leavell. He sounds great!

That was fun!

His keyboard sound is so much better in this concert than it often is with the Stones. It's a great reminder of why he was chosen. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely. I tried getting through a Labelle album the other day. Impossible. That woman is literally screaming, screeching on every song. It's too bad; she's a fine singer.

What was that big hit? I was living in the hood back then and heard that song all day and night...the ballad with McDonald? It's a gorgeous tune, real schmaltzy. "only you.." or something

I actually saw Chuck walking on Park Avenue of the Wednesday evening prior to the first NJ/NY show on my way to a group run. I stopped and talked to him for about two minutes. Super nice guy. I asked him if they were going to play any special songs the following evening and he told me it was going to be special (it was!). Then he said: "I'm actually playing with my band the following week at Gramercy, you should come." Would have loved to go. Again, really normal, nice guy. We shook hands and I went back to finish my run in Central Park.
I was really mad I wasn't carrying a camera for that special encounter!
