I think you are correct w/ #1 (by the skull & crossbones??)...it's a "saying" from the US Marine Corps (USMC) and "USMC" is written there.

As already suggested, 19. could really be 'Herb Alpert 1963'.

I think Gail's last name is more likely Cohn, and her phone number probably begins "HO1". Back when this photo was taken people still used the old named telephone exchanges. "HO" was for HOllywood.
