Saint Of Me: [youtu.be]

What an awful sound. I'm sorry but these guys at Eagle have to wake up. The Rolling Stones are a guitars band. Maybe it will be better on the CD. Just maybe.
Sounded just fine to my ears , guitars and all !

just compare with the same song from Bremen...

You made your case and I do agree with you as Bremen version of Saint of Me smokes Buenos Aires version of Saint of Me . The Bremen version of Saint of Me is more pumped , amped and the Guitars are in your face as is Chucks B3 , which is important in this tune . Not that there is anything wrong with the Saint of Me from Buenos Aires is technically flawless but there is a difference and I do agree with you . For me the Stones could release multiple shows from the B2B tour and the NS tour as well as they were on fire during 1997-1999 . Really tip top shape and bringing the bacon home along with the eggs and cheese and bread and milk as well with some OJ on the side . Are You Listening Rolling Stones and Eagle Rock - more shows from 1997-1999 please . Its Funny as I have Bremen at home still unlistend/unwatched (my bad ! )

The Buenos Aires sound it a thousand times better than Bremen.
(though Bremen in this video doesn't sound like on Blueray. Seems the uploader adjusted the audio tonally to prevent copyright problems)

Gimme was not really part of the 69 tour set. I think it was played twice and Altamont being one of them.

According to Setlist.Fm it was played at least 14 times in 1969.

1969-11-07 - Fort Collins
1969-11-09 2nd show - Oakland
1969-11-11 - Phoenix
1969-11-30 - Palm Beach
1969-12-06 - Altamont

Setlist.fm also has these shows. The London dates were added later but not part of the main U.S. tour.

1969-11-08 - Los Angeles/Inglewood - 1st show
1969-11-26 - Baltimore
1969-12-14 - The Saville Theatre London (2 shows)
1969-12-21 - The Lyceum Theatre, London (2 shows)

How is the '69 tour related to this?

Any word of bonuses on Japanese release?

No. Guess they realized that colored vinyls are more financially efficient comparing to Japanese bonus tracks winking smiley.

I don't know if there will be more stock there, but beware: the Bravado.de (Stones european official store) store indicates the translucent vinyl set is now sold out.

Just listened to JJF on Tidal now (master quality), and wow!!! That must be one of the best live versions I've ever heard, and yes, the sound is better than on Bridges to Bremen. Punchy drums and rumbeling bass, sharp guitars and horns and the vocals all shine through. Wonderfull! Can't wait to get the DVD from this one.

This is indeed an unbelievable good version, absolutely nailing it!! And the mix is very good, too.

Finally got to listen to JJF. I would've eq'd the guitars and vocals a little fuller, but wow what an intro! I've looping it on spotify last night and still get the chills when the band comes in on Keith's second time through the riff. Powerful stuff!

What a mess... And the camera trying to follow Jagger's moves wasn't a very good idea, I got sea sick before the end of the video!

After watching the JJF video again, I want to upgrade my comment to this is f-ing great. High energy and great musicianship. I can't wait until Friday when I have this in my sweaty hands where it belongs.
