Im super excited for this release.

Overall 6 shows from voodoo lounge tour have been released. so more babylon shows make me happy.

The More the merrier!

6 songs from the voodoo lounge tour? the totally stripped releases aren't part of the voodoo lounge tour that i remembered

New Jersey 1994
Miami 2994
Tokyo 1995
Amsterdam 1995
Paris 1995
London 1997

I count them as part of the tour.

Just like id count Toronto 2005 part of the Bigger Bang tour

The DVD of 'Voodoo Lounge in New Jersey' (14-Aug-1994) was a unofficial grey-market release (2008) - [www.Discogs.com] , [www.Amazon.co.uk] - and incomplete with only 18 out of 24 songs - [iorr.org] .

I got mine from RS.com and it was a tour souvenir in their print catalog and at the post east rutherford shows.

Must have been on VHS-Tape then in 1994 (since DVD-Drives came out earliest end of 1996) ....

B2B St. Louis PPV has been rumored for a while; does this put the kabosh on that, or are we really getting yet another B2B show later?

It wasn't just rumoured, it was confirmed in a press release.

We'll I'm still hoping for it since I was there!

We're there any details in the press release? I don't remember seeing that.

I'd much prefer an end-of-the-tour (= Dec.94) multi-cam show on DVD!

My bad! We all assumed that St. Louis was one of the Bridges-shows mentioned in the press release last year (which in fairness left a lot of info to be desired).

But it's still likely that St. Louis will be released, as all the "Uncuts" mentioned in the press release (save the typo "Atlanta 89") have been previously released smiling smiley

It was this one............. [www.ebay.co.uk] ..........there's a funny skit at the start where a roadie wakes up with a girl and she thinks she's been with Ron Wood..............

All good, I'm gonna buy it anyway. It just doesn't make too much sence to me to release two almost similar concerts in a row while we are still waiting for Atlantic City, Paris '76 and a new release from the Licks tour.

Brixton, both Paradiso shows and Olympia were part of the VL tour.

StonedRambler:

You absolutely hit the nail on the head. I couldn't have said it better. Why would they issue two concerts from 1998 that are almost the same when there are so many missing tours that have no official release.

Several months ago there was an announcement about future releases to include 1989, 1976, 1997 and 2002 that would fill the gaps and maybe even do a full 1969 and an improved 1972.

It makes no sense. What a wasted opportunity.

The actual sense could have been to support Stones-Exhibitionism in South America or to support the announcement of a South-America-Tour - [iorr.org] .

Yeah, but not just because it makes no sense for me, also selling-wise it makes no sense. As the fans have Bremen now, why should they buy almost the same product again now? (Yeah the crowd it better, I get it, and Bob Dylan has a guest appearance). Maybe it's really to support an upcoming South America tour (although I read in this forum that Australia and Far East is next)

Does the expanded GYYYO provide a full 69 setlist? It seems to be based on setlists I have seen.
