The best way to meet The Stones is rent a plain, jump out of it (you decide with a parachute, or not) and land in the stadium on the podium, where they are performing at that moment, and then you can only hope that Keef is not showing you the blade.

5 million dollars for a private Show - if they still do any ....

Try to make friend with royalties or A-class celebrities. Or have your kids in the same schools as Jagger's kids. Then you will meet him at the P.T.A.
Or buy a property next to a Stone's dito. Buy a yacht and circle the West Indies.

Remember the old film clip of Keith standing by the hotel front desk and shaking hands with a little old lady who was also waiting to check in. I love that.

My sister was once sitting in a Dublin bar waiting to go to the airport, when she noticed Keith sitting at the end of the bar. She said it turns out he was waiting for David Bowie and his wife, who turned up to have dinner with him. She didn't say anything, because that would be uncool, but made a mental note to tell me right away.

I bet many of us have some kind of similar near misses or closer. The Stones have been out and about for almost 60 years now.

Be in the right place, at the right time, and be polite.

I have had this several times with other so called celebs...……..by doing work at their house like Steve Winwood, Roger Taylor, Ian Anderson (who I didn't really get on with),and a few others not so memorable.

I have never met a Rolling Stone for a chat ……….where the nearest was Bill Wyman with his missus at the time of an after show party at Shepherds Bush Empire some years back.
Our old friend Tony Dunn got us there...…..and he is so missed with a lot of us Stones fans.He was such a genuine,nice guy.
A bit pissed at the time and put my arm around his shoulder and said 'You should not have left The Rolling Stones', and remember his reply that he did the right thing at that time.
I apologised on Bills' website the following day for my ungracious behaviour that night...…………….which is all I can do really.
I know a few people that have met...….or have been friends of The Stones, but that is the nearest for me.

Yes! ……………. He was one in a million and so glad you met up with him again at his final Stones show.
I was hoping to meet up with Tony and his mates Melvyn and Sean on the Europe gigs last year,but so sad Tony was not there.

Saw them both in Paris that same year …. all great guys ….
