In Jax Keith was offstage for a good portion of the beginning of the song. I know in 81/82 he played sparingly adding tasteful fills but was onstage.

He was in full view at Foxboro. maybe he needed to potty

He Is out of this song since 1990s

He was taking a cig & drink break for a decent portion of the beginning in JAX.

He DROVE the song in 1981 / 1982. Ever since 1994 he gave up on it though....

Keith gets to rest a bit during Miss You. Important song setlist-wise for that reason.

First time I noticed him joining the band late during Miss You was in Paris during the European leg of the tour.

I think it is an everlasting compromise by Keith to do that song, which is an all time favorite by Mick Jagger. I woud be glad, too, if they delete it from the setlist or manage to arrange it in a different way (e.g. as Blues). A boring piese of music in the original studio take and on stage. I never liked it.

Best song at Foxboro IMO, Jagger lit it up......

Few hardcore fans likes it but the song is a crowd-pleaser. And, relatively fresh, only 40 years old (songs like SF, HTW and so on are 50 plus). So, they will never leave it out.

Compared to the '78 live version Miss You is never played right, since '89 really. But recently I listened to the various live recordings from the past 30 years and sometimes they manage to make it sound, well, almost interesting. What I am glad about anyway is the fact that with the replacement of Lisa Fischer the cringeworthy pantomime that involved her and Mick has largely been abandoned. The shows on the Totally Stripped release were the most cringeworthy-est-est, I just couldn't watch it

If they keep it down to a 5 min. version, with less yelping to the crowd, it's ok with me if they play it. But if they were to leave it out, it would be ok too. But of course it is one their biggest and best-known hits, so there ya go...

Mick gets the chance to pee during Keith's set and Keith gets the chance to pee during MY. No problem with that. If Keith replaced all the hard alcohol with beer there's a lot more water in his body that wants to get out during the show
