Im not from NYC, about 5 hours away, however, the Stones themselves have said the NYC and MSG is the "closest they'll ever be to home" and when you look at PPV's and specials, as well as live albums, the majority of them take place in NY/NJ

Philly & NY are the best Stones towns in the U.S. Boston & Chicago are probably close. I am going to see them in blah Arizona soon but my home base for shows is South Philly so I'm with you for this tonight. The crowd will erupt like it's a playoff game. ENJOY!

The places that they have been to consistently tour to tour from the earliest days seem to be the best crowds. Even out of the U.S.because make no mistake this is a World Music act.
