Yesterday we went to Redlands

My family and I are in Southern England for a while, exploring the beaches of Sussex.

We decided to pass by West Wittering, and Keith's home Redlands.

Of course, there was no one around (except a plumber who told me that Marlon also lives 'about 4 miles away'), but it was amazing to be stood outside such an icon of Stones law, thinking of the goings on in there over the decades long passed.

It is certainly a lovely spot, beautiful countryside and just a mile or two to some nice beaches.

My little daughter drew a card for Mr Richards and posted through his letter box!

Also, in the nearby city of Chichester we stumbled upon a great collectors guitar shop ('Guitars to go'), where the owner was a former Ronnie in a Stones tribute band, and had guitar books of Undercover and Black and Blue for sale.

A nice Stonesy day out!

Nice. Were you able to take any photos of the house?

I believe daughter Angela also lives in the area.
Nice that Keith is still 'attached' to the property after all these years.

Peoplewitheyes

It's Facebook, so probably the picture is only visible for your Facebook friends. You can make it public and then anybody can see it.

Sorry to tell you this but that is not Keith's house. His house is across the street - you know the one with a Moat around it! Although this house is part of the greater Redlands estate, I don't know if Keith also owns this...

Yes, I believe that K owns basically the whole estate, including that house.

The others were not so accessible.

Also it does look rather similar to this one (this is the back garden, I believe)

Redlands M and K

Either way, we were close enough to smell the weed and patchouli, the chocolate and caramel... in my imagination

Redlands is surrounded by high hedges that make it all but invisible from the outside.

Keith also bought a nearby beach hut about a decade ago, but it's anyone's guess which one it actually is.
