Very cool. They called themselves 'New Yardbirds' due to contractual obligation in Scandinavia, but they used that name on some UK dates until The Roundhouse gig in London, November 9, 1968, which read: 'Yardbirds - now known as Led Zeppelin'.
There are recordings of those first gigs - they are raw and powerful as you might expect.
