Charlottesville: fine bootleg

At most times the sound quality is as good if not better than Columbus. Great acoustics. And they put on a hell of a show! Sweet Virginia! Get Off Of My Cloud!

Best bootleg of the tour so far.

The only bootleg I've heard of from the tour is a Boston double. Recording the show is not a bootleg, it's a recording.

Bootlegs are officially released.... bla-bla-bla...

"Bootlegs" are sold...recordings are presumably a labor of love to be shared with other fans.

"Pirate" recordings are illegal copies of officially released material.

In legal terms, a "bootleg" is any unauthorized recording, regardless if it is sold, shared with other fans or just a labour love. Unauthorized "bootleg" = a recording done without permission from the band. So, sorry folks, this whole "bootleg or recording" discussion here is quite pointless - these are the copyright laws, and of course, I did not invent them...
