Looks like it was another epic evening.
Thanks for the fabulous reports and pictures everybody!

Can't wait for the Foxboro thread to take over because this one is getting tiresome...

Did I notice correctly that Keith was not wearing his skull ring? Was that due to the heat or some other reason?

Also at the rock and roll hall of fame induction - I do not recall MJ saying anything about Brian I could be wrong but I think Mick Taylor might of mentioned Brian.

You recall incorrectly. Mick specifically thanked two people "who can't be here tonight", Ian Stewart and Brian Jones. The clip is on 25 x 5 VHS.

And it was Bill and Charlie that Mick Taylor thanked.

It's been off for quite some time. Since 2016, I believe.

They rehearsed Cry To Me in Europe. Add that to the list as well.

Question: if Bill Wyman would die today, would
Mick mentioned it at the Boston show?
Rockandroll,
Mops

I hope we don't get the chance to find out!

They do occasionally pay tribute to someone who has just died (like playing It's All Over Now for Bobby Womack at Werchter 2014) but they don't go in for public obsession with death anniversaries - whatever they do or don't remember in private. You can criticise them for that if you like, but they're not about to change.

Bruce SpringSteen did Rebel Rebel for Bowie and Purple PRain for Prince.

Lem Motlow, I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. The paper Mick was reading backstage said "Trump Campaign Ignores Hatch Act".

On the No Security tour they played "Route 66" and Mick said it was for Bobby Troup. It was right after he died. As I recall, they had rehearsed it weeks earlier in San Francisco and then Troup died unexpectedly of a heart attack.
