What concerts do you remember the Stones played besides stadiums. Special places like Copacabana Beach, Palace Square Saint Petersburg, La Habana, Cuba, Beacon Theatre, New York City now Bur'ls Creek Event Grounds according to the tour dates and special places that you would like the Stones need to play like Central Park, New York City

Downsview Park in Toronto 2003 and Burl’s Creek were both unique venues and gigs, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, too.

Not everyone loved the set up at Indy but I had a blast and the band sure fed off of the large crowd.

Well Hanging Rock (in Australia) is most definitely "Exotic".

It's also very "Uncommon" as it may well be the only venue on the entire Planet where the Rolling Stones have cancelled a scheduled show two tours in succession.

The performance they gave facing the River Thames, with the audience stood behind them. That has to be one of the most unique. There are photos documenting the event.

When was that?

One of their very early performances took place in Battersea Park, with a pool between them and the audience. And while we're thinking of unusual venues, how about a tumbledown wreck of a hotel on a little island in the Thames, where they had to carry all their gear over a footbridge?

Magdalen College, Oxford - they had been booked to play for the college's May Ball - between the booking and the performance many things had happened like hit records and their first tour of the States, but they honoured the booking.

Palace Grounds, Bangalore, India 2003 - they performed in an epic rainstorm and the boot of the show is appropriately called Dripping Away.

I am not English spoken really, but I do understand that word may be offending in some cases, so I changed it, just to avoid misunderstandings.

Didnt know that had now been added to the "offensive" list - and I'm a native English speaker. But if it is, then it's best removed.

It's a shame the band never played Red Rocks in Morrison, CO- one of the greatest and most iconic venues in the world. There was rumor of gigs there on the 2015 tour but who knows if it was ever close to reality.
