Might stop by Buddy Guy's for a drink at some point. Probably trying the Berghoff (German cuisine) for pre-show lunch in the afternoon. It was recommended to me by a friend who's from Chicago.

Speaking of German, last night I had the pleasure of attending a sold-out book talk with Bill German. I bought a copy of his book and he was kind enough to sign it for me. Great to see so many friends, old and new, too.

For anybody that picked up lucky dip tickets, do you need the credit card? Mine got compromised after I bought them in Nov 2018 and I have a new number. But I have my ID and confirmation number.

Oh dear. Try to find some old correspondence from your bank which refers to the old card and confirms it was yours. If you have that and explain the situation, I'm sure it will be fine.

I picked up LDs on Friday with just ID, although you should take confirmation number too. You don't need the original credit card. I have never been asked to show it - and your explanation will work in case they might ask for it.
