Let's see... here's a few: Primal Scream, Girls Girls Girls, Same Old Situation, Home Sweet Home, Wild Side, Dr. Feelgood, Don't Go Away Mad, Looks that Kill, Without You, Kickstart My Heart, Shout at the Devil...

Guess you're wrong.

Then why do they have the rockin'est show on tour ?? Honestly a Crue show has more people out of their seats, doing more dancing, than I've seen so far this ABB Tour...

Oh, I forgot, you "saw them in their heyday"

Who would you prefer ? Alanis Morrisette in New York or Los Loney Boys in Chicago ?

Too many little kids and not enough volume.

They have plenty of songs that are still worth cranking from time to time.

Once Mick or Charlie starts spitting blood at the B Stage, KISS will lose that special little place in my heart.

"Who would you prefer ? Alanis Morrisette in New York or Los Loney Boys in Chicago ?"

sadly yes. they've got more rock n roll cred than the hairplug/lipsuction boys any day

and that's saying something

time to admit it. you're dreaming of a Ratt / Vain / LA Guns triple bil

@#$%& me what a bunch of elitists we have on this board.

My god, the eighties rock boom was all about FUN, having a good time and Rockin' - is that really so bad?

some people take this shit too seriously man. Think it's because there are a load of old farts on this board that don't really like anything after the sixties, or at a push the seventies.

Me I love all rock music - go to gigs a regular as I can from the classic bands to the new upcomers, if they have loads guitars, drums and bass and are playing rock - then I'm a happy man.

going to see Dylan in a few weeks, along with the Quo and robert Plant before christmas. But also have tickets to see Towers of London & Tokyo Dragons, a coupla new rock bands.

Oh yey - by the way andy, alanis morristte has got a lot more rock n roll cred than some of the 80's rock bands - oh wait a minute, wasn't she a crappy pop singer in her native Canada before she hit it big with her 'angst' music. yes I think she might have been - CRED!

Come on people! Motley Crue is almost the bestest! Remember that album cover? The one with the straight-on front photo of a dudes crotch? Dude, that was ORIGINAL! NOBODY ever thought of that before. If it only had an actual working zipper!

They f*cking rock, DUDE! Nobody slaps a bitch around better than Vince Neil, and Tommy Lee could kick Charlies ass, Charlie doesn't even have any tattoos! Not to mention he NEVER teased or moussed his hair! wussy! Nobody moussed better than the Crue..not Poisen, not Cinderella, not even Ratt!!

Screw Sway, I wanna hear Girls, Girls, Girls! yeah, dude!

I don't think I would be in too much of a hurry to arrive at the Seattle show!

You've out-moroned yourself... stay away, nobody wants you. the rest of the crowd will be rockin' their ass off while "Ross" skulks back...

Big Loss for all of us.

The problem with alot of these people is that they are getting paunchy and can't handle 30 of the greatest live rock songs at one time....

Would love to hear the Crue do "Street Fighting Man"...

Interesting that you think the Stones picked such a terrible opening act...

Anyway, please inform us... which Crue shows have you attended where people were throwing their shoes at the band ?? or are you stuck in 1981 ?? This is 2005 Seattle and that stadium is gonna explode while you're floppin' back on your couch "remembering Journey in 1981"... that's rich.

But again, just please tell us what venues you've seen the Crue at on this current tour....Just trying to validate the information you're providing the board...

Hey, I'm probably the oldest guy at a Crue show... Tat you seem like an open-minded fan, give 'em a shot, even old-timers can get into great live music!

BTW, the energy at an MC show is through the roof, kind of reminds you of the earlier stones tours when the fans had hair and no pot-bellies...

If you read the Motley boards now there's some (not all) that say "the Stones is an over-the-hill act"... and if you read the Stones boards (like this one), there's some (not all) who criticize MC for whatever predjudice, 99% of whom never saw the crue...

IMO, BOTH of these groups are in for a shock in Seattle and Portland !

I can't remember when the Stones opened with such an incredible opening show... Stevie Wonder in 71/72 perhaps ?

Not to be outdone the SanFran folks are gonna get Metallica...

And what did MSG get ?? Alanis... no offense to her, and LosLonelyBoys in Chicago... geez...

The people in Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco must be living right !

Actually, I don't get too excited in advance about any opening act. Even if it's someone I really like (like Wilco in Atlanta), it is usually ruined by a shortened set, bad sound, and the distraction of people talking and working their way to their seat in the middle of the set.

If it turns out great, thats just a bonus!
