Not much interesting here. Maybe tickets aren't selling so well for the Burl's Creek show so they need to promote it?

If ticket sales is so bad maybee they cancel the show.
Nothing interesting here. Just more advertising. I guess tickets aren't selling so well for the Bu's Creek show so they need to promote it.

This is how it works: Radio stations or newspapers on the locations where the band is set to play are given 10-15 minutes to speak with either Sir Michael (most often) or Keith.
It rarely has anything to do with serious journalism - it's promotion (remember The Under Assistant West Coast promotion Man?). Nothing wrong with that but don't expect anything else.

A random note: When you're talking to nobility it's common sense to start with .. Sir. This guy failed to do that. Another note: Sir Michael's voice: He sounds like he has a cold. As always.

At least he wasnt addressed as 'Brenda'.

He's not nobility.
Nobility in this sense means ranked as aristocracy which Mick is not.

Thanks, Deltics. So he's not a peer then? Does that mean he can't have a seat in the House of Lords then? I thought he had a life peerage. Does that mean he's a commoner?

"When you’re young, that’s what you do. [Today I] spend three or four months on the road in a year and that seems to be quite a good balance.”

Just my take, but it would be fairly easy for someone who planned on stopping touring after this one to slip up and talk in the past tense.. "I spent three or four months on the road.. and that seemed to.."

I think the show will go on after this tour.

No...he ain't a Lord so cannot sit in the 'Upper Chamber'.
He's no different to any of us...except he has more dosh in the bank.

I say! So he's not a chap then, rather a bloke. Blimey! And I who thought he had blue blood running through his veins. How must I regard him from now on? Like parvenu?
