Ernest Richards Tower Walthamstow

To all Londoners out there; as we all know, Keith's grandfather and grandmother, Ernest and Eliza Richards, were instrumental in organizing the local Labour Party and Eliza was on the council, or was it mayor? Anyway, there were some blocks built to recognize 3 local Labour party organizers and one of those was named after granddaddy Ernest.

Apparently it is/was at 42 Colchester Road in Walthamstow.

My question is this; does it still exist (seems it does) and does anyone know anything more about its history etc?

I think this is a fascinating bit of history.

The high rise blocks were Demolished in 1998 I think .
Certainly around that time,

[ I wouldn't have had clue about it but I have relatives in the area and it rang bells when I read Keith's account of his granddad in "Life ]
