Clear Bag Policy in US Stadiums
Posted by: coloradocanyons ()

A reminder that almost all large venues in the US have implemented a clear bag policy.

I have not seen a case where a non-NFL stadium clear bag policy is substantial different than the NFL's but you should check to make sure.

A reminder to the ladies:

Once in, security checks divide male and females.
If you are female, and 5 gals in front of you have purses that need to be checked,
and the men’s line next to you is flying thru and running for the rails...

Keep It In Your Pockets, Please.
No plastic on the planet, No purses, No worries.

Thank You.

I see lots of ladies being sent away and not allowed in with their giant handbags...I barely got into Gillette Stadium in 2006 because of my bag size. We should keep repeating this Clear Bag Policy..it will help all of us move quickly into the venues. Amazon sells these clear bags for $6.99, and they MUST BE 12 x 12 x 6 inches.

Please pay attention to the bags policy. At the No filter Tour in Europe many women were sent back because they had too big bags. Allowed were A 5 size (21 cm x 15 cm) that is about 8 "x 5.9"

I know Bye Bye Johnny posted a picture for the Chicago show (I don't know how to repost it) but the bag policy is not just for Chicago. It is a policy by the National Football League so all the football stadiums STRICTLY enforce this policy. It is even enforced at some university football stadiums. I witnessed multiple fans in line getting turned away for bags/purses. Sorry if this has been posted before but trying to be helpful for Stone's fans who do not attend games and/or concerts at stadiums too often. And, trying to give a big helpful hint for Stone's fans coming from overseas. Every stadium/team website should give an explanation of rules on the bag policy and of course other prohibited items. Hope this was helpful, if you have a chance to see them you should go, Chicago #1 was amazing! Thank you.

Do they allow people with balls?

Re: Bag Policy
Posted by: hopkins ()

or just the bags?
it's like sales job at Sears apparel.
Hope someone is inspecting all those lipstick tubes and chap-stiks.
and i guess there's got to be at least a few pampers in the crowd,
those bringing their youngest or fans Bill's age.
...does a plastic bottle show if it's strapped to your thigh and your wearing
baggy shorts? how about a reconnaissance drone? Can you just tell Siri,
or that bitch Alexa, to keep tracking you and keep the Drone twenty five to fifty feet in the air?
then all you got to bring is those balls.
i like the concert when Mick is kicking balls. That drone could take
photographs of what's in all the bags; a further help to security.
I want special clearances, but still, no meet and greet; i'm not talking
to a couple of them and i'd rather not say which ones.
it changes. it rotates sorta. like balls do. in '81 i think Mick kicked
one or was that a balloon? Keith was busy keeping the timing in groove
by banging his guitar onto the head of an enthusiastic fan. Balls a plenty.

In the '81 stuff and i think in some of the 60 and 70's stuff they were balls.
how about if you have transparent balls. like trans and parent balls.
how'd Daniel Webster even stumble into that whole deal?
what's the origin. original Greek translation of "transparent?"
"High Ticket Prices" ?
If they do a "No Security Tour" will we need extra Security; or none at all?
Lord of Chargemore, Sir Michael...
as long as there's new rules and everything.
like you got to get drunk on 12 dollar beers after flying half way around
the world and sitting in the cold for few hours....if there's vape patrol in the toilet stalls have all our wars been fought in vain?
This really IS the British Invasion?
The tour of 1792 went super here, still someone in Parliament lost their friggin minds in 1812.
... no new album since someone joined the government in an official capacity.
now they want to count the kleenex in your Blade Runner bag.
After he wrote Fingerprint File they turned the dear boy.
it's not his fault. i saw Daniel Craig in one of the audience shots.
just sayin'....
....

I think they'll be just about strip-searching us as we go into these Stadiums! No water bottles allowed....they want you to pay $6 for a small bottle of water! I am bringing in a make-up bag and I KNOW they'll look inside....tip to the ladies...put a tampon on top of anything you do NOT want inspected and go to a line with a MALE inspector....you'll be in fast! This trick has worked every time for me!

Try taking in one of those collapsible plastic water bottle-size containers (empty) and fill it at a water fountain. I don't know about stadiums, but many festivals will let you take in a regular empty water bottle, too.

I don't think they'll let you in with a plastic water bottle, whether it is filled or empty (or half-filled) (or half-empty).

Their concern is: if a bottle is filled up and capped, it can then be THROWN and injure someone.
That's why vendors take the cap off the $5 bottle of water when they sell it to you.

They’re not trying to make your life difficult or ruin your night, they’re doing a very difficult job trying to protect you and your loved ones and get in and out of the stadium safely.
If some wack job gets a weapon or explosive device in there you’re gonna have way more problems than someone looking into a bag.
Act accordingly.

Sneak in an empty collapsible water bottle. Fill it inside.

Something like this: [www.amazon.com]

Good point--as I said many festivals let you do that (encourage it, even, as they don't want dehydrated people passing out), but I wasn't sure if stadiums do.

This doesn’t apply for tonight but it will apply for the rest of the tour.bye bye Johnny’s pictures of the bag restrictions are especially important and will save you many many headaches upon entering the stadiums.
I promise ,you won’t talk your way around it.

This hasn't been covered yet. Do the merch stands give out clear bags to put shirts in.

Re: Clear Bag Policy in US Stadiums

In Landover they had clear bags for merch... I got a clear bag with the Stones logo. They gave them out with the shirts too. It was cool that they had the stands outside, so you could take it back to your car before the show.

I will get shirts outside, the line up inside will be a mile long.
