PENALTY FOR FLAGRANT USE OF A MISUSED "TERM"

A polar vortex is, in fact, the opposite of what it actually is. Factually, any "arctic" or "Alberta Clipper" or "Canadian" or "polar air" (all also known as a "polar vortex") usage is exactly not a polar vortex at all, but rather, a chunk OF the polar vortex that has broken off and drifted South.

Once it breaks off it is no longer part of the polar vortex.

It's the same as people saying The Lower 48 - it implies something that is not true (there are no Upper 48, so how can there be a Lower 48?).

Haha penalty accepted.

Long gone is the desire for a deep cut gig, it'd have to be a one off, special order, arena thing for us all to get close enough, so hoping for obscure ditties to be thrown in a Stadium Tour is what i'd say is wishful thinking.

I've commented here before that I saw more Depth in 1995, happily a changed set list in 2006 but a sadly run of the mill frankly boring set, apart from MR in 2014 (the idea of LARS as the fan choice 2 Tours in row was lame...)

I thought the 'new' song rumours about the 21st referred to a 'new'ly played rarity... ie Mercy Mercy or whatever.

Not 'new' as in a fresh, newly written song.

But then the threads have been so labyrinthine, I am undoubtedly confused.

Going from last year in UK there will be a couple of lesser known songs. I'd put money on Memory Motel being played in Boston.

Where did Brown Sugar go? It isn't mentioned in any rehearsal report. For sure they can't have skipped it? That would be a novelty.

No. I thought I mentioned that I returned my LD tickets

If that's a set list [rather than just a collection of songs chosen for the stage rehearsal to accidentally or deliberately deceive ] ,there's not a lot of what you'd call Rock N Roll in there after the first four or five numbers.

He did Little T&A in Vegas as well.

Christ almighty I will freak out if they play sweet Virginia, one of my favorite songs of all time. Only saw it once (No Security tour) and I didn’t appreciate it then at all.

What about JJF?

They didn't do IORR, Honky Tonk Woman and Brown Sugar at rehearsals, they will get them into the set somewhere.

that doesn't really mean much . we can see the most played songs by him. he never plays any songs he released after "the worst" anymore. most of the 80's tunes are skipped over too besides "slipping away". cool he sometimes busts out "can't be seen' or "little t&a". you realize he has like 13 songs on stones albums from 1980-2005 and plays just 1 of them on a semi regular basis. he has 4 songs from 1968-1979 and sings lead parts on 2 other songs and he plays 3 of those 4 tunes pretty much every tour
