Thanks for the info, Bleedingman. I wish those lucky seven would have been fed with a more rare number also. But you can't always get what you want I guess...

I think there's a very good chance Chicago gets a club show.

I don't think so. Tour starts on Friday and they usually need a three days break between shows. And dress rehearsals need to be done. Thus there won't be time for a club show.
My guess is rather:
Saturday or Sunday: arriving in Chicago
Monday: relaxing/jet leg
Tuesday: rehearsals at the venue
Wednesday: dress rehearsals at the venue
Thursday: day off
Friday: show

Looking to the report in Rocks Off and shared here, the with capital “S” is supposed to be Satisfaction? Or maybe Slave? They have rehearsed it once or more times before I believe. Slave would be great to hear live!! spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Where is the S referred? Is it in this thread or a report about tour rehearsals?

Thanks - It's good to read that they are playing well. However, songs rehearsed or seen were not new as Keith indicated they would do in an article posted several days ago.

The Rocks Off post said they were invited to come in after Midnight Rambler and PIB. Then they were playing "SMU, JJF, GS & S". So this seems to be the second half of the final setlist (after Keiths set). The rare songs are normally played in the first set. What's really interesting is that Brown Sugar was not played in the second set but Paint It Black instead. Maybe this means Brown Sugar could be the opener?
So maybe the setlist could look a bit like that:
Brown Sugar
IORR
TD
Ride em on down/just your fool

Thanks for the post. This is nothing different. Last Week I heard Mother's Little Helper FOUR times on various Sirius XM radio stations.
I'm not sure if they know how expansive the knowledge of their music by even the casual fan at this point whom they think are pleased by running the same list into to the ground. Music is everywhere now in this new era of music availability. So they now can take chances, which they are really not, to play anything different.

They can retire the blues tunes and put a classic Stones song in that slot.

Agreed, the blues numbers just don't cut it , please more classic Stones.

My feeling is (and I could easily be wrong), that The Stones treat each gig as 'Another Day at the Office', and a very familiar set list is easy work for them, and really enjoyable for 80% of the audience.

The other 20% still really love seeing The Rolling Stones live, while they are still doing what they do best.
We would be even happier if we had a few more different songs from Keith at times and 4 or 5 songs that would be faves from albums or singles that are rarely played.

Would hope to see it happen on this Tour, especially after Keiths'set, but after the last Europe Tour my hopes are not sky high. I really do hope I'm wrong.

well, sometimes im recent years of touring; very recent since B&L,
often, at least my impression at that Desert Festival thing,
that "Just Your Fool" really brought some verve to a comparatively
routine set of performances those two weekends.
I'll have to take another look and listen though.
Just my impression...
I'm super glad they're up and running.
As long as they play adtl and Miss Amanda Jones, (each night),
they'll get no flak from the H zone.

Absolutely! There are too many classic Stones' songs to be played, to be using up valuable space doing obscure covers.

I’ll be so pumped if they break into Sad Sad Sad.
I’ll be pumped if they give Harlem Shuffle a roll too.

Ya know, I’ve never been to an opener...
