Keith or Ron should introduce Mick at every show from now on
Date: May 16, 2019 23:37

It’s been done on rare occasion before but Mick should be regularly introduced at the end of his intros. We all know he needs no intro but it will give us a chance to show some extra appreciation for what he does.

It's very hard to know how to appreciate Mick coming back on stage so soon after his health problems, but a big intro by Keith or Ronnie at the right time on the first gig in Chicago would not go amiss.
We will have to wait and see what happens. thumbs up

I’m thinking his initial appearance onstage will generate a loud and long welcome, to say the least.
An intro by a band member wouldn’t hurt either.

While I mostly like Mick's funny introductions of Ronnie (especially in Germany 2018) I'm not convinced the other way round.

And pity that the choir: "Charlie, Charlie, Charlie" doesn't sound that good with Mick's name ....

cool smiley Heart of Stone would also work, but (Doo Doo Doo) HeartBreaker would be a fantastic opener!

I imagine Mick will hit the stage to a larger and longer than normal roar of the crowd followed by an extended ovation after the first song and/or when he says hello.
The intros though.. he needs to be included, Keith needs to make it happen.

Can't wait!

I remember being in Syracuse in 1998 and after Keith was introduced he said "Oh, and there's Mick, the singer. I always forget to say that!" Funny.

Whether Mick should be introduced by Keith [or whoever[ is a good & valid topic for discussion ...

...but I suspect Mick wouldn't want anything done differently due to his recent health issue & surgery.

Whilst being appreciative of folks' good wishes...he'd probably rather play it down.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks. It will be the same procedures as last year. Same songs, same procedures. Wanna bet?

I've been thinking this for years, when KEEF gets up to the mike he should introduce MICK. Sure we all know who he is but MICK gets left out of the intros.

If it happens it will be spontaneous, they don’t do those cheesy emotional moments like a lot of acts do.
Keith may take it upon himself though, which would make it real, not some staged bullshit.
I remember seeing him put his arm around Mick as they walked offstage in 06 in Vegas.i didn’t know until the next day Micks dad had passed earlier and he did the show anyway.
Like I said, maybe something unplanned but as a set part of the show, no fckng way.

The intros section is too long as it is. At least it's a little shorter now that they got rid of the trumpet/trombone players and Blondie Chaplin. I could do without it completely and have them add one more song.

Ronnie introduced Mick on the Miami '94 PPV.

"Give it up...give it up...for the first time...ever. Go nuts...MICK JAGGER."

And Didn't Keith often casually say "Thanks, Mick" after being introduced on the B2B tour?

If they shortened the outro to "Midnight Rambler" they could do three more songs.
