As each day draws closer to opening night I am struck by the thoughts of feeling like the very first time of seeing my most favorite band of all time . The excitement and adrenaline building rapidly as each day comes closer to the date on the calendar when the lights will go down at Solider Field and out on to the Stage will come Keith with Fender Telecaster(likely but not cast into stone ) in hand and will strum that opening Chord and the pyro/fireworks barrage will announce and herald the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World and the Rolling Stones will be off and running on high octane for the next 2 hours delivering there set list filled with all the hits of there most brilliant and legendary career of lifetime achievement of entertaining us and thrilling and singing to us and gracing us with the SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES ! For yours truly nothing comes even close to getting my blood pumping and coursing thru my veins and bringing me such joy and ecstasy from my earliest days of riding in Dad's automobile at such a young and impressionable age and playing with the dials and buttons on the radio and finding 19th Nervous Breakdown , The Last Time , Time is on our Side , Paint It Black, Play With Fire , Lets Spend the Night Together and being a young kid what did I know about music ? Not much except that it sounded "Fun" and it got into my ears first and then deep into my memory where it has remained and never left . That of and in itself just blows me away . Fast forward to the 70's and the Love You Live album and Some Girls album ,then I really started to "Get" The Rolling Stones and hearing a live radio broadcast on local radio in 1978 of the Rolling Stones performance from Buffalo Rich Stadium and I was hooked , addicted and whatever adjective you want to call it ! I am truly very lucky and blessed and fortunate to have this most wonderful opportunity to be able to enjoy and participate in this thrill and adventure of my lifetime . I owe a debt and gratitude to someone Very Important and Very Special to me whom without NONE of this would have ever been possible from the very beginning right to today . Thank You most kindly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the local Applebee's ( Joplin Mo.) a few nights ago having a beer watching the basketball game.
A guy comes in sits down at the bar orders a beer and he has a foreign accent.
The bar tender asked him where he was from and he said Australia.
He asked him if he was in town for work and he replied NO...I am here to see the Rolling Stones!!!
So this guy was taking a tour of Route 66. Hitting many concerts along the way way but was going to see the Stones in Glendale!..
I gave him a high five and got me fired up.
I am ready and wish I was doing Chicago #1.
New Orleans / Houston / Denver Tickets so far and may do Miami

And no need to wish about Chicago. Next Thursday around lunchtime tell the boss/wife/hubby/cat whomever you are going out for a carton of milk some smokes or something... point the car up 71... go through KC... keep heading North to someplace in Iowa... turn right at some point... go for another 200-300 miles East... after 8-9 hours of driving stop and get some rest over night... roll in the next day... buy tickets outside... see The Stones... reverse the route... and dont forget to stop someplace on Range line/along 7th street, before going home, to pick up the milk/smokes or something.
If ever questioned... keep repeating "what?" and smile...
although a smile will fixed to your face for days...

lol. Sounds like a plan. Actually I could just head almost due east to saint Louis then north east to Chicago. It is a easy trip. But I am already taking my girlfriend to Florida for a mini beach trip. Or I would!

Pick up the phone and call Ticketmaster customer service...
ask them politely for an upgrade. Nothing to lose and sometimes it works.

They will let you upgrade one time. It cost like $5 or $10 service fee to do
