Pretty good rates at the Hampton Inn in Glendale, which is walking distance from the stadium. They may bump them soon, so if you're going, you may want to book ASAP.

I will be at all the shows and looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new people. I went to the final 3 O2 shows in 2007 and really thought it was all over. Now I've seen at least one show every year since 2012

thumbs up

See you there vibrolux...deja vu as I think we were planning on meeting for the original dates?
Either way, see you there!

In Santa Clara, I recommend the Avatar Hotel.

In Seattle, the Silver Cloud at the Stadium. If you want something better-priced for the latter, there are the tiny but cool rooms of the Ace Hotel among other compromise options downtown/in Belltown. The University District and Capital Hill are also good options.

They're legit. I received an official e-mail from the Stones account this AM.

Recommend taking the sarcasm detector in for service.
I'll be damned.

It took me an hour to book all my remaining hotels this past hour. All cities should be easy except for Seattle, quite high priced near the stadium.

There's a few of us on here from Seattle, if anyone wants advise or tips on neighborhoods etc. Couple areas out of downtown that are easy to get to the stadium and downtown from are University District, Capitol Hill, Queen Anne.

Avatar is sold out. I got the Hyatt near Levi's Stadium.

Silver cloud in seattle is really expensive!

Thanks BV and everyone at IORR for the rumored dates - I got all my hotels booked last night and now get to go to the first two shows and the last five shows!! So happy and excited. smiling smiley

The nearby Best Western Plus in Pioneer Square is slightly more reasonable, as is the excellent Inn at the Market, though both are expensive as Seattle tends to be in the Summer.

Some cheaper options downtown that I don't necessarily vouch for and may involve shared bath are the Executive Hotel Pacific, Inn at Virginia Mason (requires walk down/uphill), and Hotel Moore.

What a great way to begin the day. I have a feeling there’s going to be a triumphal vibe among fans this summer. We’re going to greet Mick like he’s Mel Gibson in “Braveheart.” Now that their life as a working band has flashed before our eyes, so to speak, he’s going to find out, anew, just how much this band means to all of us.

Not for me it isn't.

I see the rates are 3-4x what they were a few days ago.

Hotels in Seattle were already expensive before the announcement.

July 7th! A nice long 4th of July weekend in the States...I can live with that.

Book NOW for hotels!

this is especially the case if you are staying anywhere near a beach.

and be prepared for traffic like you read about.

Otherwise...see you there!!!
I live near Hartford, so I'm just planning on driving up and back that day (or days...it'll be after midnight). Done it for shows at Gillette several times...it's not a big deal.

Perfect...see you there!

When is Pearl Jam coming back to Hartford? That last show there was The Bomb!

Nothing screams "rock'n'roll!" more than a sensible retirement income.

Very pleased CHI retains the original dates since it's one of two for which I'd planned travel. The other was Denver, which I now cannot make so I'll look for one more travel date, plus the home show in SEA. Disappointingly that one's still mid-week. Yuck...

Hope August 14 in Seattle is free of smoke from wildfires. This has normally never been an issue here, but the last two years, we have had extremely poor air quality (and heat) in early August.

Absolutely not. They have unfinished business in South America, Japan, Europe and other places. Take a look at the video Mick posted yesterday, it is a hint regarding their touring aim for the years to come.

What a good news... I had to cancel all my tickets for this tour because I can't make it this summer... So thanks BV, I hope Warsaw was not my last show!!

May be even worse this El Niño year.
