I enjoy some of the newer ones, heavyweight vinyl, cool covers/photos, interesting cuts.
1) On The Road Again (think out of Spain). Includes Brain Jones last live performance w/ Salt Of The Earth, Italian Tears Go By which I love!, Six Days On Road with Taj and Glastonbury Girl which I find hilarious.. I also dig the interior photo spread showing all four bands (with Stu, Brian, Taylor, and Ronnie) ... 2) The Paris Rehearsals, just got this recently and my fav! Made me love Miss You all over again ... 3) Germany 1982, great pic of Mick! The old dangerous scowling pre-knighted rock n' roll is all look! And the Chantilly Lace cut is great to have as well

Part 2 of my favs: 2nd Incarnation, awesome show! San Diego 69.. So many different versions of "only 500 made" etc floating out there that I don't care if this one is "fake" (wtf is a fake bootleg lol) it sounds great on my turntable smiling smiley ... Devil's Disciple, Baltimore 69, wow! I really dig the version of Satisfaction on this with the audience singalong .. Finally, The Godfather/Casino release of the Chess sessions .. yes, all of this can be had somewhere on the internet for download, but I don't care for those, I enjoy putting em on my turntable with my coffee and oatmeal

I know a guy in Scandanavia who is a master recorder who shares his stuff for free. Turns out someone in Russia was taking his tapes & selling them on Ebay, etc. My friend had the local version of the FBI knocking on his door about it. Upon investigation he was exonerated, thank goodness.

I hate when that happens. My Clapton recordings from Royal Albert Hall already reported on Ebay. I know many tapers who no longer share publicly because of that and others doing butcher jobs of matrixing amazing recordings with garbage phone recordings to get credit for "improving" the recordings.

I haven't listened to my records since a long time, so last night I picked up Bright Lights Big City off the shelf and I noticed it has this tracklist on the label. Good ol' bootlegs. grinning smiley

daspyknows, your EC recordings are wonderful. best EC i've heard in years. thank you for sharing them. so glad to hear him play "layla" electric again. the acoustic version is good but definitely burnt out on it. & he did "purple rain" justice. i do enjoy your work when i can get it!

Wonder how many recent live bootlegs people regret (VOODOO onward). I got SPARKS WILL FLY from the August 14 New Jersey show, which is pretty good and has my favorite live performance of Shattered and a fantastic Street Fighting Man where they get LOSSSSSSSST! I can't remember if I got anything else after that, regarding just getting something, but I did get BRUSSELS and something else at some point around that time, plus the two HOT STUFF boots, studio and live, that are pretty good.

Haven't felt a need to get anything post-1994 with STRIPPED and all that's come out: aside from Thief In The Night on NO SECURITY, Monkey Man, You Don't Have To Mean It and The Nearness Of You on the LIVE LICKS, not interested in anything since.
