from doo doo scrounge doo doo LOUNGE, till Honk except for those two semi new ones shrooms and gloom. you don't trip when you're depressed, people!!
but they had that liverpool beat rolling, gotta admit, bill had different style on boo boo tho. it's called devolution, like the beetle song.
devolution #6 was on the Blight album, it had so many sides and a blank front.
verrrrry ionesco! or a really bad mistake they covered with intellectual bullshit from the 'smart one' who wanted to kill the 'cute one' cause at least he could play that weird ass electric violin. that was DONE, people. I saw macca sneaking into those Hot Tuna showss, asking Papa John Creach about those open tunings, man; he's kidding no one. ringo wrote a lot of that stuff it turns out; ask bill.

and a couple before i never understood. contracts?
I guess. throw the dog a bone and buy another island for the massive
number of cumulative dancers and models that are awaiting impregnation.
that i can understand.

Now, brb

okay, now Miss Amanda Jones? That's what i call understandable.
that's what us kids need in times of turmoil; the pimple thing alone
is like mega stress.
her names amanda jones; she's a "miss" none of the double entraalatta
to make things kryptic. that's why we have kinks; bill did NOT write
that stuff, which is why a lot of it sucks, but, hey...the drummer
was cool.
she's amanda; she goes around, around and around, she goes.
maybe she's bugged walking up and down the same old strip?
maybe she IS a stripper, it's borderline krypic.
but she's jones and round she goes.
now, does jones rhyme with 'goes' ? no.
it works anyway. swing.
'ask her' doesn't rhyme with 'after' either.
hmmmm, i'm gonna have to rethink this ONE.
but the others i understand.
Aftermath nearly turned me off to them completely, thank goodness for buttons,
the legacy sealer the career maker the "understanding' that makes it possible
for a guy from very modest lower middle class surroundings, to impregnate future legions. The completists will be begging in the street.
oh one of the great grand kids has a band. they do STONES COVERS.
well, actually they're covers of Darryls covers of bernards covers of chuck and lisas covers. no one has done that before...
...by the time deep fans get to the second great grankids bands,
they'll be hollow eyed and begging for stamps and Amazon credits...

oooh here's a one in blue vinyl that's SEE THROUGH.

On the second page and I still don’t know what this topic is about. But I’ll try. Why doesn’t Ruby Tuesday or Dandelion have a musical intro. I don’t understand and I don’t understand why I wrote this

well i've been going through ALL those hundred of lyrics since the OP dropped this baby. man, .....exhausTED....
'you never under

"You never understood" that it ain't no good
You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you.

all for nothing; well not much; just that shit song;
another one like jigsaw puzzle; dudes all over the place...whoa...
embarrassing. bill def did NOT write this loser...
maybe brian when he was tripping; like if it was a special occasion.
like a day of the week that had the letters 'day' in it somewhere...

ok it's a song by then but not one of the A numbers...
YOU, OP, never understood that it's nowhere else in their catalog?
before you gave me a full time job?
maybe keith wrote some of it; sort of like btmr ;
no bridge. sloppy work...
not their best writing that's for sure.
plus they say their own name in the song which is pretty cheap.
you buy the shit you know who the @#$%& is on it...

How about Indian Girl. What was that all about?

It's about the civil war in Nicaragua (Bianca's native country).

Answering the question in a slightly different way. I’m often struck by how strange many of Mick’s lyrics are. Even the early songs. ‘Your mother who neglected you owes a million dollars tax. And your father’s still perfecting ways of making sealing wax.’ That’s But one example of this is not ‘I wanna hold your hand’ stuff. Many Stones songs have those slightly weird lyrics when you actually think about them, you’re like ‘what?’

Always loved that line (and many others) that didn't need to make sense, early on I realized these guys are smart jesters making great songs.
