An Interesting Precedent

Knowing Keith's love of the blues, something somewhat amused me.

Circa 1968, and under the Cadet subsidiary of Chess Records, Howlin' Wolf recorded the Howlin' Wolf Album. He was, subsequently, dismissive of it, and referred to it as "Dogsh*t".

In the early 2000s Mick Jagger recorded Goddess In The Doorway, and Keith referred to it, subsequently, as "Dogsh*t in the Doorway".

Would it be worth, thus, considering that Keith's insults are rooted, as is his music, in the blues ?

Not sure,

But Keith, bless him, is certainly often something of a "gob-sh*te " grinning smiley

probably a few other times in history that someone referred to something as dogsh*t. Probably Keith was aware of the term without regard to Wolf, no?

BUT!!! who wrote the song called Dog Sh*t for Undercover

..think its one of keith's 3 chord rockers, could be a RW song, but they liked it enough to put a horn section on it

I'm thinking he could've been fully justified in describing She's The Boss, and Primitive Cool as such.

More of a coincidence than a precedent.

Right behind the #MeToo movement, I would bet the #MePoo movement would be number 2.

I don't think that the word precedent is the correct word. All he did was repeat a word, not continue or start a movement.

They were a lot better than Goddess in the Doorway. Keith was spot on with that dog.
