I'm listening to the 2nd CD in the "Some Girls" deluxe edition and hoping that they will eventually press it on vinyl - I have a bootleg called "Some Girls Outtakes" that's sourced from that 2nd cd (so of course not mastered for vinyl and sounds tinny) and of course one side is sadly pressed off center -
It would be cool if they would stick that and the 2nd Exile disc on vinyl officially - there is definitely a market for it now more than when they first came out
Sarah Shook and the Devil's 2102 EP, "Seven." Also have been heavily playing her and the Disarmers' 3rd and newest LP, Nightroamer (2022).
Got both at their Nov 14 show.
If a show's good, I find that for about a week afterwards I play that band or artist almost exclusively. I'd done the same with Arcade Fire music after seeing them Oct. 28... played only Funeral, Neon Bible, and The Suburbs for over a week. In their 3-night stand in the 6000-capacity Anthem in DC they emphasized one of their "big three" albums each night. We got Neon Bible. I was happy with that.
One of many bands trying to make up some of two mostly-lost years, Sarah Shook and the Disarmers had toured 170 days of 2022 and last week in Richmond was their final show of the year. From here they headed home to Pittsboro NC for a little break.
