Captain Acid's wonderful El Mocambo 1977 with improved dynamic range! Thank you, Captain!

It's such an injustice that this amazing show languished in the vault for so long, just having 4 tracks officially released on Love You Live and mediocre bootlegs.

I have the 2 CD set, Captain Acid remaster digitally, and am contemplating the 4 LP set. I've got lots of listening to catch up on!

Leon Bridges & Khruangbin - Mariella

Just discovered this music and I think it’s fantastic!
Mr. Bridges combined with this band, consisting of only two men and a woman, it works brilliantly.
I can especially recommend the one-hour loop version on YouTube.

Four nights ago in Hopewell, Virginia they did Neil's Don't Let It Bring You down and a Gordon Lightfoot cover. Margot Timmins told us it was some kinda of law for Canadian acts, to cover each other.

They also covered non-Canadians the Stones, VU, Bowie, and Townes Van Zandt. And a bunch of their own music, of course -- they did 20 songs. My favorite was the show closer, the Patsy Cline hit Walkin' After Midnight. Margot still slays on it.

I need to share this one. I am having a beer at the moment at "Uba ja Humal" bar in Tallinn, Estonia, and as I walked in they played "Sad Day". And now I have heard also "Good Times, Bad Times" and "I Don't Know Why". You don't hear those tunes in public places too often!

EDIT: and now "She's A Rainbow" followed by "Long, Long While" . Oh man, I love this place (beer's good too, I think I need to have another one...)
