Quite lengthy but also quite interesting article in Vanity Fair regarding the lab leak/gain of function theories on the origin of the pandemic.

Great tune up until about 2:45.

If you mean where it drops into the dub version, you have to know that Jamaican Recordings label is known for putting out really dubious material. I doubt this version of COB was ever actually released as a disco mix 12", its just their concoction after the fact. And that cut isn't that strong, especially compared to the original.

Anyway, second original version:

Just thought I would throw this in, one of the nicest guys to walk the earth

I should have been more specific, i was referring to the Eric Donaldson 5:42 version but now you've gone and posted 3 more and i'm easily confused.

yes that 5:42 version was the one I was referring to as well. Vocal was ok, version a bit rough, none of it very great, not one of Bunny Lee's better productions.

all taken from an obscure CD set I picked up when current,

A Celebration To The 100th Birthday Of HIM Emperor Haile Selassie I

I couldn't find one of the best tracks, Michael Bennett So Called Leaders which is pretty surprising, usually you can find anything on youtube.
