Goodbye Jimmy Reed, His Bobness.
Along with False Prophet the only redeeming song on the new album. Tempest (best album of the last 10 years IMHO) is 1000000000000000 times better.
Very disappointed with Rough And Rowdy Ways.
MMF could've used 2 middle eights and some chord changes. Bob is a genius so he could have easily done that. Lyrics good, music's lazy.

I agree for the most part, but still feel that Murder Most Foul is essential, though it's more like an intensely deep poetry reading than an actual song.
I recall first hearing it late in the evening right at the onset of the Corona lockdown back in March with the all of the uncertainty involved, and MMF was sort of comforting in a 'end of the world' sort of way haha.
It's definitely not a "song" I can listen to on a daily basis or would even want to, but whenever I do it still evokes those haunting vibes. For me, it's the highlight of the entire album... it's truly epic.
