I started... just bought (downloaded)
TOTALLY STRIPPED - BRIXTON and AMSTERDAM. I got PARIS a while back, mainly because of Shattered, I Go Wild, Keith's 2 and Midnight Rambler. I certainly didn't get any of them to hear Brown Sugar or Start Me Up or or Miss You or IORR or JJF or HTW or Brown Sugar again...

GNR - SFTD - I have not listened to that in a long time. I think they were broken up and David Geffen asked them to come back and record the greatest hits release.
Slash's first solo captures Keith's tone that Keith never captured again going into the 70's. But after that Slash plays the solo parts way to FAST and I would rather listen to Keith play it slow LOL even today.

Here's the writer of "Get Together", Dino Valenti, doing one of his versions of the song. Hearing this song, whether by the Youngbloods or Valenti, takes me back to the ideals of the original hippie movement. The movement was so much more than what people know or believe. Valenti was also part of Quicksilver Messenger Service, another San Francisco band from back in the day. Nicky Hopkins was once part of the band.
