A Lucinda williams song Also covered by Johnny Cash And Tom Petty. Lucinda's Letterman version is intense But Kasey's band and voice here is my Favorite.
my buddies th losin streaks, hometown favorites having a rave up at the Crasharama a few years ago:
here is a more representative set at the local dive
Ricky Estrin and the night cats getting contemporary...
again, here is something more representative. Rick was at a harp symposium somewhere in Europe and Mick Jagger came up to him and gave him some high praise on his playing.
Rick is a genuinely nice person whom I have known for a number of years, met officially at my late friends body shop where Rick was getting his 50s Cadillac Eldorado repaired.
Here is more local talent, I know half these guys in fact the drummer is a new property owner in the little town I live near. Tim White on guitar.
Here they are in the ghost town they have adopted and maintain out in the middle of Nevada.
In Mike Blanchard's back yard, a memorable occasion.
Another from the desert:
Finally here they are at the local dive of the little town I was mentioning. This place is a throwback to the 30s
Around here you don't have to pay big bucks to see the Stones, you can catch some quality local music
