Sad news to hear. UFO guitarist and keyboard player has died of a heart attack at 73. He had been with the band since 1976. Totally underrated, he was UFO's secret weapon. He topped and tailed the songs, rounded out the sound, and added beautiful melodic flourishes. He was a full member, not a sidekick or session player. And yet Nicky Hopkins comes to mind when I think of him, just for his role in bringing out the best in others. Saw him in Glasgow a fortnight ago, and he was faultless.God Bless.

Very sad...they were on their farewell tour too.

Definitely a shocker to see this...

Just saw UFO for my first time, in October 2017, at their last US gig in Indianapolis with Saxon opening. Great gig!

I was looking forward to another chance in 2019, now it's hard to say what the future brings...

This inevitable trend is the sad reality for us all, isn't it?

Very sad to hear this news.
I saw Paul play with UFO and Michael Schencker many times going back to 1978.
He was a fine musician.

UFO is a great band and under appreciated. Sad for the loss of Paul Raymond.
