This is a great interview from Mick during the '81 tour that was just posted on YouTube, especially what he says when the interview ends in response to his answer to the last question..."You can always edit that last bit." spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I posted this in another thread but nice to see it getting its own thread! That bit st the end made me laugh when she was like “hmmm?” And he said “never mind”

I couldn't stop laughing at the end of the interview when he smiled, realizing his answer to the last question, fake coughing, and told her she could edit the last bit under his breath, and she's like "hmmm?" spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Watching a Mick interview is always funny. Almost every interview he does, he bullshits his way through it. I would to if I was asked the same stupid questions for well over 50 years.

Here's another Mick interview I like from MTV Australia while he was touring there in September 1988. He talks about how he had recently done demos for Stones material with Ron and Charlie and how he wasn't 100% sure whether the Stones would make an album and tour the following year. Little did he know less than a year later, the Stones would make the greatest comeback in music history.

There's more on the Jagger/Rona Barrett interview in this thread a few times:

A better than average interview. Commander with full make up on. The questions about the sound on ppv:s
and ticket scalping were original. A bit stiff and mirthless interviewer though.

Pet peeve of mine...we need to stop calling something “rare” when it’s on YouTube. It’s not rare anymore!

I consider something like this rare as it was just posted on YouTube a few days ago and "rarely" seen by anyone since the interview took place almost 40 years ago. So yeah it is rare lol
