Fingers crossed ticket sales are good and they add more dates.

I love Elvis and travelled last fall to see him in upper NY state. The ticket sales were poor - they closed the upper tier and moved everyone down to lower level seats to fill that up. It was a casino and they comped tickets like cray to fill the seats. An usher told me they only sold 600 tickets. I don’t know what happened but I was wondering if he would tour again, am glad to see he is but sad there is nothing outside the US again. We’d fill a venue here for him!

Anyone care to speculate what an Elvis Costello setlist might look like these days? His last couple of records, while still featuring superior songwriting, have nonetheless been somewhat reserved. Might his recent output dominate the setlist? Does he still play a handful of his early "hits"? I've seen him a number of times but not in at least ten years.

In November the first half of the set was heavy with new tunes. The new album is pretty good. Remainder of set was mostly hits.
