Was telling my wife (who's a fan but more of the regular variety) how crazy it was yesterday that a ton of us likely 50+ year olds, (she's nearly a couple decades younger than I) were all online waiting for an announcement from a band with members in their mid seventies and how funny that must look to others.

The August 18th date at Levi's seems to have some traction here in Marin among 49ers Season ticket holders for whatever that is worth...

That happens to fall on a Sunday. Not that it really matters to me, but maybe Sat. the 17th would be better without any commotion from the neighbors whining about noise levels?

I agree and have separate hotel reservations for both nights, just in case.....as well as a few other dates that are possible!

Multiple reservations here also (all cancellable) - made several last night and just added another thanks to your tip haha.
Thankfully, every booking I made is drastically less expensive than those initial rumoured dates for Oct. when I was looking at hotels (and which I never did book - I was going to sleep in my van ),
and about the same or even less than the original dates! Just looked at one of my reservations made last night, then went back in to see if the rate is the same for a new reservation... whoa...it's nearly doubled so word must be out that the Stones are coming back to town.

I pulled the trigger on a new reservation for Philly... still need re-arrangements for Foxborough and Landover, but gotta work tmrw to make up for bein' off Monday flying back from LAX for the missed Glendale/Pasadena binge...

Great week though... Yngwie in Vegas, Dodger game last Saturday and 1205 miles on 2 different Charger R/Ts rented for the 2 round-trips from LA to Vegas and back. Did a 9-1/2 hour turn and burn last Sunday to drop off my bud...

For whatever reason, a huge number of tickets for the Burl's Creek show were refunded they are basically starting over with an unsold venue that includes some price drops. Would explain the tongue sightings.

Same here - Hyatt Regency Santa Clara at $116.10 per night + about $15 tax per night for 3 nights August 16 -18. Free cancellation til the 14th. Time for another mini-IORR meet up, I'd say!!!

Yes we met up at Desert Trip! I will have my friend check that, she handles hotels and airfare, I handle concert tickets.
