May I ask a hypothetical ticket buying question? I do not want to go on ticketmaster.
In this lieu period/ postponed time frame:
Is it actually possible to purchase tickets directly from Ticketmaster/ meaning refundable.
A few days ago I did go on Ticketmaster and found new tickets I wanted, attempted 4x coming back sorry another customer got them, 5th time option was someone else’s resale thru Ticketmaster, therefore a non refundable set, I tried that set, went thru. That’s fine, I am thrilled to have them!
But say, if I wanted to look see for other shows, is Ticketmaster themselves selling right now without confirmed dates?
Thanks.

Yes ticketmaster is currently selling tickets to all shows even though all
dates are postponed. Not sure if purchasing now is a good strategy or waiting
until after the new dates are announced is a better strategy. Presumably many
ticket holders may have personal conflicts with the new dates and would be returning there tickets for a refund. If you spot tickets in the section you would like at a fair price then I would grab them. Good luck!

The tour will be June 21 until the very end of Aug, so I expect the same number of days between shows, and rest days, and the same number of shows as originally planned.

Southwest is the approved domestic airline of IORR's editorial management.
As long as they are grounding the 737 MAX planes I am fine...

Damn. I’m in Washington 19-23 June. I just know I’m going to be very tempted to make a foolhardy flying visit to Chicago for opening night of it’s confirmed. After saying I wouldn’t. I feel the excitement building. Hmmmm. Grrrr.
Anyone on here used Spirit Airlines before? They offer cheap return flights from BWI.
Fly at your own risk. Spirit is notorious for cancellations.
I’ve just seen the cancellation tales of woe. More recently they seem to have improved markedly on punctuality and cancellation. Where they score poorly is on charging extra for just about everything and a generally poor customer experience. But I’m not fussed about that. I just want to get there. The plan would be to leave all my stuff in DC and travel with a small rucksack only to Chicago for a night or 2.
Avoid Spirit. A friend booked a Spirit flight from SF or Oakland to Vegas. Took 27 hours including 14 on the tarmac over 2 stretches. Could have driven round trip.

They worked on starting with Boston and/or NJ, but it seems that Chicago will be the start of the tour now.

Looking forward to the new NJ shows. Hope I can make it again, from Europe.

Wouldn’t it make sense to do the East coast after Burl’s Creek? The first half of July? Logistically it would make sense anyway.
That would make sense.Quote

I think so too. livefromuk mentioned that Philadelphia is slated for end of July (he was quite reliable with the Philly date a few months ago).
That means... I don't know what that means...

I'm wondering why they need to wait until Tuesday.
