October 20th concert was NOT freezing.
I didn't need a jacket.I wore a sweatshirt and I was fine.
It's up to chance by that time of year.
Probably dumped and new will be produced.
Most likely covered by insurance as well / or the promoters will be stuck with the bill. Probably produced in low cost countries for basically nothing.

And let's not forget that the band are 13 years older now than then so I struggle to see them accepting those dates in the North.
It got a bit chilly during the show in Dublin last year but that was about it.
This stage is likely a bit more accommodating for weather than others, I believe.
Other than the catwalk, the covered main portion of the stage is a lot easier to control than the BB stage.
May result in less trips to the catwalk and outer edges of the main stage, but weather extremes are more manageable for the band nowadays I'm betting.
Don't forget the doctors! Discussion of after 2 weeks that Mick can ramp it up is pretty unreasonable. That's why we are now seeing dates into October.
Oct. 30 in Denver historical average is high 61F/low 36F. Of course this is over 100 years or more so you can get a big variation from year to year.
You never saw those pics of kids in Namibia and Bangladesh wearing Rolling Stones 1986 North American Tour shirts?
(Only trouble is they have to print a lot of XXL's for the American market, way too big for Third World people.)

I would not worry much about the merchandise not being with the right dates. They just print new ones. A T-shirt may cost $30 at the venues but only a fraction to manufacture. Also, I think they print in batches. During the Licks tour Keith did not like the stage layout so they changed it and the "old programme" (they had large and small versions) were sold out after a few shows, and then the new version was out quite soon, so they don't stock up for the entire tour.

During the Oct 2006 freezing cold shows I had four - 4 - T-shirts and a sweater and a jacket and I was still freezing. If they tour cold places in Oct this year I will bring my own polar clothing, normally only used during cold winters in Norway.

And if N.O. is added and it is the Superdome I might try for that one.

One thing I felt on the 2017 tour was that Keith played much better in venues that had a roof (ie that were not so cold). Much as I want to see them, Oct and Nov don't sound very attractive to me.
