This reminds me like the A Bigger Bang North American Fall Tour In 2006 when they played In Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, New York during the months of September, October and November, I think that the upcoming tour will be similar like this one

It's the same time frame that the Stones most often played the states from '89 on.....'89, '94' 97, '02 were all in the Fall

I edited my post above to include Chicago October averages. Seems to be much less risky than Denver.

I got 2 pit Ronnie’s side for Denver. If it is late October I will not take the chance on a cold show which would prob turn into a short show. And snow very possible. I will refund or sale them. Too much money to take that chance. Regroup and go someplace different.

If what BV is saying is true. Then that makes the new Ticketmaster order seem correct

Change your location and your TM order of shows will change.

! THIS IS PURE SPECULATION !

When I change my location on TM, the list still stays in the same order. The TM list might just be nonsense - so I came up with my own nonsense list since I am bored anyways. I used Keefys rumor and came up with some dates using the TM order. Keep in mind that in:

    [*] 2005 they played
    [*] Sep 27th Giants Stadium
    [*] Oct 11 Soldier Field
    [*] Nov 8th Glendale

Tue Oct 1st Glendale, AZ - State Farm Stadium
Sat oct 5th Pasadena, CA - Rose Bowl
Thu Oct 10th East Rutherford, NJ - MetLife Stadium
Mon Oct 14th East Rutherford, NJ - MetLife Stadium
Fri Oct 18th Oro-Medonte, Canada - Burl’s Creek Event Grounds
Wed Oct 23rd Houston, TX - NRG Stadium (Keefy)
Sun Oct 27th Jacksonville, FL - TIAA Bank Field
Thu Oct 31st Landover, MD - FedExField
Tue Nov 5th Miami, FL - Hard Rock Stadium
Sat Nov 9th Philadelphia, PA - Lincoln Financial Field
Sat Nov 16th Foxborough, MA - Gillette Stadium
Wed Nov 20th Chicago, IL - Soldier Field
Sun Nov 24th Chicago, IL - Soldier Field
Fri Nov 29th Denver, CO - Broncos Stadium At Mile High
Tue Dec 3rd Santa Clara, CA - Levi's® Stadium
Sat Dec 7th Seattle, WA - CenturyLink Field

Maybe TM tries to throw us off and the list is actually the other way around :-)

Sat Sep 14th Seattle, WA - CenturyLink Field
Wed Sep 18th Santa Clara, CA - Levi's® Stadium
Sat Sep 21st Denver, CO - Broncos Stadium At Mile High
Tue Sep 24th Chicago, IL - Soldier Field
Sat Sep 28th Chicago, IL - Soldier Field
Sat Oct 5th Foxborough, MA - Gillette Stadium
Wed Oct 9th Philadelphia, PA - Lincoln Financial Field
Sun Oct 13th Miami, FL - Hard Rock Stadium
Wed Oct 14th Landover, MD - FedExField
Sat Oct 19th Jacksonville, FL - TIAA Bank Field
Wed Oct 23rd Houston, TX - NRG Stadium (Keefy)
Sun Oct 27th Oro-Medonte, Canada - Burl’s Creek Event Grounds
Thu Oct 31st East Rutherford, NJ - MetLife Stadium
Mon Nov 4th East Rutherford, NJ - MetLife Stadium
Sat Nov 9th Pasadena, CA - Rose Bowl
Sat Nov 16th Glendale, AZ - State Farm Stadium

Early September is usually beautiful in Chicago. Might be light jacket weather for an evening show, but it would be fine.

Fall (autumn) is beautiful in America, Hopefully our frustrated friends can make it over from Europe, Argentina, etc.

Chicago in November is laughable! Late Sept, much more believeable. Those that compare this tour to past Fall tours: 89,94,97,02 etc. Keep in mind Mick turns 76 in July and Charlie turns 78 in June. Not to sure men in their mid to late 70s want to freeze on stage for half the tour. NFL schedule will be key to rescheduling.

It’s just not that cold September through November in most of the places on the tour. Philly, Jersey and Massachusetts are all fine well into October. Denver and Chicago perhaps a little more iffy, but September is fine for all of those places. In any event it beat the helloing of August in all of those places unless you like hot and very humid weather.

based on having been to the oct. "arctic" show at soldier field, and opening night 1997, no way they play that late in nov. chicago would be in sept.

in 2005 soldier field had open dates the third week of september where the stones could have done two shows. they only did one on sept. 10. was late getting to that show and had people BEGGING to buy my ticket (give ya $200. c'mon!). they could have easily sold out two shows that tour.

sept. 23, 1997 was Cold, 45 degrees. (temp. pretty much sucked) looks like mick was talked into oct. 12, 2006, and got royally screwed by mother nature.

They are an arena act in the states although I saw them open for the Stones in a stadium.

I suppose U2 fills stadiums (for reasons I don’t comprehend) but the last time they were in the Bay Area it was the fall. Don’t know about the rest of the country.

Springsteen hits a few NE Stadiums in the fall the past few tours but over with by end of Sept.

I can't think of any artist that played recently or even semi-recently open roof stadiums in mid to late October in the NE due to the unpredictable of the weather

(I wasn't quoting you, Bjornulf.)

Referring back to that cold fall show in Chicago, hopefully that's not a probability.
Or Denver, even worse, see stats above.

Having moved from the Midwest to the Southwest, I wasn't much aware of the cold temps in
the higher elevations,.

No Filter intentionally had Sympathy as an opener, they only changed that last summer because it didn't work in daylight.
In worked perfectly in 2017.

We are talking about resheduling shows at already sold out venues. And sold out means anything from 80% or more, usually 99%.

Sold out at 80-90%? I remember when sold out meant sold out and anything less was Limited Seats or Selling Fast. But then, this IS The Rolling Stones.

These tours utilized indoor arenas in the colder areas. I assume the Stones would prefer not to change to smaller venues, less revenue and a change of venue would trigger full refunds.

The Burl's Creek show has a capacity for 71 k.
Should they move it to Rogers Centre,
55 thousand would be on the high side and a majority of the original layout for Oro Medonte is general admission. Will be interesting to see what happens.
