Mick is regarded as being super fit, almost super human, so hope that helps him make a swift recovery. Best wishes to him.
He's also SEVENTY FIVE. Something was going to happen eventually...hopefully it's just a rehearsal-related injury.

Hopefully the dates are all just pushed back 30 days which makes it a summer tour

Glad I did not buy airplane tickets. I wonder how they will handle the tickets we have in hand? Hang on to them or refund?

If the tour is pushed to late summer/early fall, they'll have to deal with football schedules and potentially cold weather. They've toured stadiums in the fall before without issue. The wording makes it seem like this is just an injury related issue he has to work through, not a serious medical condition. They seem confident the tour can go ahead eventually. Hopefully he makes a quick recovery!

Every time gets closer to "the last time". Sometime in the near future there will be no more tour dates.

I hope Mick is okay. This is a bummer for folks who made travel plans but at 75 something was bound to go wrong somewhere along the way. Surprised its Mick he is super fit.

Full recovery of what, what happened to him?

Carlitos
Tenerife
I have serious doubts they'll tell us...could be something as simple as a dance-related injury (knee, ankle, etc.).

Could be, that's what I though

Must be something more serious since they postpone / cancel at least til beyond May 2. Hopefully he will recover and they can pick up the tour sometime in May.

This has been rumoured since mid week, but I didn't believe it with all the talk of rehearsals. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Curious as to where this was rumored?
I've not seen a thing, if rumored earlier, concerned it's then more likely not an injury, but illness. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery for Mick.

Yeah let's hope it's something that would limit his movements. I'd hate to see Mick in Axl's throne for a show plus that would make recovery time predictable (plus Mick will surely beat most timetables set for a 75 year old man).

Let's see if this was the last thing ever with Stones.
Then I am happy I saw them in Edinburgh last year.

Postponed, not cancelled, on Ticketmaster. Except NOLA, that may be hard to reschedule.

I hope that Mick is fine. I bought my ticket already and I live close to the stadium; I am lucky. I feel sorry for all the fans who are in situations more complicated. Hopefully everything will get in order soon. Keep on rocking Rolling Stones!

This is Mick's way of getting back at Keith for the timing of the Talk Is Cheap reissue.

This is a shocker coming so close to start of tour - something must have been discovered during the pre-tour physical. Hope to God it's nothing serious - it doesn't sound like it is - but they probably wouldn't disclose it if it were...

Godspeed, Mick, for full and complete recovery!

All thoughts and prayers go out to Mick.

Very concerning of course, until we know the condition.
Positive sign that they are postponing as opposed to canceling at this point.
Postponing the entire tour is worrisome however.

Hope we hear soon.

I'm guessing something may have come up in the pre-tour insurance required physical. Hoping for the best for Mick.

Hoping it's nothing serious and wishing Mick a full recovery. Its not the first time shows have been postponed for various reasons, both health and tax related. But is it the first time am entire tour leg has been postponed? Maybe UK Bridges to Babylon leg and first few shows of A Bigger Bang are the nearest?

I just hope it is eg. a dance related injury and they currently cant figure put when they will be able to pick up rehearsing. So they might start the tour in NJ - which I bought plane tickets for. ;-)

There goes the Nola show. But that’s irrelevant. Hope it’s not too serious. I’m not ready for the final curtain. Not yet. Not ever.

I'm hoping also for only the "first X" shows postponed due to travel costs etc. NOLA definitely cancelled I see. I guess it depends on the issue for Mick - hoping he makes a full recovery is clearly the most important thing.

The US Football season starts on 5th September - so anything after that date gets more tricky for stadium access.
